KRAFTON’s PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS has released its 37.1 live server update. The update features a collaboration with hypercar brand BUGATTI, an expansion of the UGC Alpha user-generated content suite, and the limited-time return of the pixel-art arcade mode, POBG.

The BUGATTI partnership introduces two special vehicle skins for the 'Coupe RB', modeled after the iconic Chiron. Players can customize their vehicles with 14 exterior colors, four interior styles, seven wheel types, seven brake calipers, and a collection of BUGATTI-themed cosmetic sets. Exclusive BUGATTI containers will be placed on the starting islands of Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Taego, Deston, and Rondo. Only players who own the skins can open these containers to access the exclusive vehicle.

Additionally, the UGC Alpha, a system that allows players to design their own game rules, logic, and objects, is now available to more users. This feature is provided on the PC platform and will remain operational until the October update. PUBG Plus account holders can freely create UGC Alpha sessions, while standard players can join sessions and play sample modes.

The retro-style mini-game mode 'POBG' is also making a limited-time return alongside the new 'Paramo' map. First introduced as an April Fool’s Day event in 2021, POBG features gameplay centered on battles against the Chicken Boss, distinct from the survival-focused nature of the main game. POBG will be available starting the 21st, with the console version arriving on the 28th.

This update also officially applies a rebalance for Designated Marksman Rifles (DMRs). The damage of most DMRs has been reduced by approximately 12%, and the fire rate for most weapons, excluding the Dragunov and Mk14, has been lowered by about 45%. The VSS, however, retains its existing damage and fire rate. Other updates include a new Ranked season, a new Survivor Pass, the removal of the Canted Sight, Red Zone balance adjustments, and the addition of vending machines and destructible pots to the Deston map.
