Na Dong-hyun, better known as 'Daedosukwan', a pioneer who laid the very foundations of the domestic online broadcasting scene, has been found dead.

According to the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul, Na Dong-hyun was discovered deceased at his home in Gwangjin-gu around 8:40 AM on the 6th. The authorities arrived after an acquaintance reported that Na Dong-hyun failed to show up for a scheduled meeting. No suicide note was found at the scene, and no signs of foul play were detected. A police official stated that Na Dong-hyun is presumed to have passed away due to an underlying medical condition, adding that an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

Operating under the moniker 'Daedosukwan', Na Dong-hyun was a first-generation gaming broadcaster. Starting with titles like League of Legends and StarCraft, Na Dong-hyun established a career as a variety streamer with an official YouTube channel boasting 1.45 million subscribers. Na Dong-hyun played a pivotal role in popularizing the once-unfamiliar profession of online broadcasting, pushing the boundaries of the domestic scene from SOOP (formerly AfreecaTV) to platforms like Twitch and YouTube.

Na Dong-hyun was active until the very end, having uploaded a video for Mabinogi Mobile to his YouTube channel as recently as September 3rd. The sudden news has left many fans in deep sorrow.
