Kakao Games has unveiled the H2 2025 update roadmap for 'Odin: Valhalla Rising' (hereinafter Odin), the MMORPG developed by Lionheart Studio.

The news was shared on the 10th via the official cafe. The upcoming updates aim to enhance the player experience through the introduction of a new class, various quality-of-life improvements, and adjustments to content difficulty.

Set to arrive later this year, the 'Frostborn' is an advanced class for the Warrior. Wielding a massive two-handed mace, the Frostborn employs a combat style focused on wide-range AOE damage, status ailments, and damage-over-time effects. To celebrate this addition, a class change feature will be rolled out, allowing players to swap their current class. Further details and the specific schedule for the Frostborn launch will be revealed in due course.

Listening to player feedback, the team is adding a private trading system. This feature, which allows for direct item exchanges between specific players, is slated for an end-of-October update. Additionally, the developers are streamlining the gameplay with updates like bulk registrations for the marketplace, and auto-acceptance and quick travel for town quests.

The difficulty of the 7th chapter, the 'Niflheim' continent, is being lowered. Meanwhile, rewards in elite dungeons are getting a significant buff. Players can look forward to boosted rewards in the 'Dungeon - Hall of Chaos' and the 'Hell Citadel' within the 'Shadow Castle', making the fierce competition for rare loot that much more enticing.

Beyond that, September will see the addition of new Mythic-grade gear, along with base stat buffs for existing Legendary and Mythic items. While exchange tickets were previously limited to Legendary-grade 'Avatars', 'Mounts', and 'Weapon Appearances', the system is expanding to include Mythic gear and pet exchange tickets.
