Welcome back to the [Meca Ranking] for Seven Knights Re:Verse. With the latest update, we saw new heroes Orly and Daisy drop simultaneously. Naturally, the million-gold question was whether these two could finally put a dent in Platon, who has been sitting pretty as the apex predator of the arena. I had particularly high hopes for Orly, but let's cut to the chase before we dive into the charts: the arena remains largely unmoved, though a handful of high-ranking players are testing Orly in the Grand Arena. Let's break down the meta shifts with our team composition stats.

Arena participation for the 'Old Seven Knights' continues to dwindle

Platon has held the top spot in arena pick rates for four consecutive weeks. In fact, the lead has widened by another 5 percentage points, hitting a staggering 80.7%. It’s starting to look like the dominance of Teo back in the early days of the game. Many adventurers pinned their hopes on the new support hero, Orly, to break this stalemate, but Platon remains unshaken.

The meta is completely ignoring the new arrivals, instead consolidating around various magic-deck combinations. The linchpin here is the offensive hero Colt. The prevailing meta has been a Platon party featuring three 'Magic Backflow' components—including Melcure—alongside Rin and Yeonhee, or sometimes Yushin. Now, however, we are seeing variations where Yeonhee is swapped out for Colt. While the effectiveness depends on your transcendence level, Yeonhee is seeing a sharper decline in pick rates.

As a side note, running 'Old Seven Knights' in a Platon party seems to be a dead end, save for Juri. PAI has found a home in Teo and Colt offensive decks or defensive squads, but Rosie has fallen off the charts entirely. Juri is the only one putting up a decent fight, with usage of 'Soul Annihilation' seeing a slight uptick as legendary ring acquisition rates climb.

Platon in a 'Protection Formation' is the new subject of study!

Unlike the previous data, formation pick rates show a peculiar trend. The offensive formation, previously considered the exclusive home for Platon, is actually seeing a decline. It is the protection formation that has bounced back, surging by 9.3 percentage points this week. It seems the community has concluded that Platon has enough survivability to thrive outside of the standard offensive slot.

Meanwhile, the Top 5 pet pick rates have been locked in for three weeks. The survival-focused pet Lu-Pike is trending upward, while others are sliding. Given that Platon’s key stats revolve around defense, health, and effect resistance, this shift is logical. Unless a new offensive powerhouse emerges, this meta is likely here to stay for quite some time.

'Platon & Colt' Offensive Formation

The Best Pick of the Week has returned to the custom magic deck. It is the classic magic-attack deck centered on Platon, but now with Colt in the mix. The 'Melcure-Rin-Vanessa' core remains, with Colt filling the slot previously occupied by Yeonhee. While individual choices vary depending on your tier, this composition has become the de facto standard.

It is worth noting that many top-tier players tested other 'Old Seven Knights' in that Colt slot. Some tried adding PAI for extra firepower or Rosie for survivability, but both have seen their pick rates plummet. Juri, however, is gaining traction due to the ability of 'Soul Annihilation' to block death-defying survival effects. If you have Juri, it might be worth a look.

Grand Arena Pick of the Week

'Pokal' takes the solo lead in the 11th round of the Grand Arena

We are currently midway through the 11th round of the Grand Arena. With elite players hovering around the 6,000-point threshold for the legendary tier, adventurer 'Pokal' has surged into the solo lead. Pokal was tied for 4th in the final week of August, so it seems the refined squad is paying off. The current lineup features a Yeonhee magic deck, a Platon-Melcure magic deck, a Teo offensive deck, a Karma defensive deck, and an Instant Death defensive deck.

Let’s look closer at the first party—the Yeonhee magic deck—which utilizes the new hero, Orly. While Orly has been out for nearly a week, the consensus on how to best build around the hero remains divided. Pokal’s solution is the Silvesta combo. While Yeonhee occupies the slot for the attack bonus, the true stars of the party are Silvesta and Orly.

The reason lies in Orly’s passive, 'Light of Insight.' While the damage immunity buff applies to all allied magic-type heroes, the critical hit effect is reserved for magic-type heroes in the front row. Yushin and Vanessa are mostly there for support, allowing Silvesta to fully capitalize on these benefits. This setup optimizes Yeonhee’s firepower, turn-based buff reduction, and life-steal for maximum battle longevity.

While Orly hasn’t quite taken over the primary arena meta, the Grand Arena landscape is clearly different. Because you need 25 heroes, the top players are finding creative, intricate ways to make these units shine.

Seven Knights Re:Verse User Poll

Our last poll focused on the improvements slated for October, as revealed in the developer notes. We asked which of the three major changes you were most looking forward to, and the results were surprisingly balanced.

The winner, at 43.2%, was accessory crafting. It seems the prospect of guaranteed legendary accessory acquisition has many adventurers excited. Guild content followed, with improvements to guild wars, such as locking defensive gear, taking 2nd place at 34.1%. General guild system improvements, including instant re-joining, rounded out the top three.

Given that our Meca Ranking focuses on PvP, we rarely get to discuss PvE-focused heroes. However, this week’s poll topic is the new hero, 'Daisy'. Many adventurers are using Daisy in the Wukong raid as part of a high-score composition, often replacing Black Rose.

Daisy can be obtained for free by participating in the Seven Knights Re:Verse event, so some have skipped the summon banners entirely. Others have pushed for 2 or 6 transcendence levels to tackle the 15th stage. Which transcendence level do you recommend for Daisy?
