Q. Hello, Toritot. Could you please introduce yourself?
A. Hello, I am Toritot, the Guild Master of MEVIUS. Thanks for the opportunity. Our victory in the 28th Ancient Citadel Field of Life is entirely down to our members. It was a collective achievement. We will continue to push forward and grow as a guild.
Q. What kind of guild is MEVIUS? What is your motto or playstyle?
A. MEVIUS operates under the motto 'Grow together, Win together.' We value cooperation above all else. Most members have been with us since the early days of RAVEN 2, focusing on tight-knit teamwork and strategic play.
Q. You aren't currently part of any larger alliance. Are you a solo-operating guild?
A. Correct. We operate independently. We value our freedom and our own goals, though we do cooperate with other guilds when the situation demands it.
Q. You had 19 members at the time of this interview. Is it difficult to play as a small-scale guild?
A. Being small makes us tighter, but RAVEN 2 presents plenty of hurdles. When it comes to guild wars or large-scale raids, we often feel the manpower gap. It is tough when everyone cannot be present at a crucial moment, but we manage by coordinating effectively.
Q. Let’s talk about the Ancient Citadel. The 28th event concluded on September 6th. How did you find it?
A. The Ancient Citadel is not a solo endeavor. It required constant communication and organized movement, which ultimately decided the outcome of the match.
Q. Why did you choose the Field of Elements?
A. As a small, independent guild, it offered us the highest probability of winning.
Q. What is the average level and combat power of the MEVIUS members who participated?
A. We averaged level 78, with combat power ranging between 1,700 and 1,800.
Q. Were there any difficulties in preparing for and running the Ancient Citadel?
A. It is always a struggle for a smaller group. Role distribution and synchronization are tricky, but MEVIUS overcame it through pure cooperation.
Q. How did you handle the mid-bosses?
A. We took down Cassian of Agony for the 'Steadfast Will' buff, then moved to Phaen of Obsession for the 'Battle Cry' buff. Finally, we finished off Targis of Desire for the 'Sacred Prayer' buff. Timing these buffs to specific boss phases was key before taking on the final boss, Parnak.
Q. Taking down the final boss with a small team must have been difficult.
A. It was no walk in the park. Thanks to the cold, calculated leadership of Hollarimus and the quick reflexes of our members, we managed to survive the onslaught. Strategic synergy was our primary weapon.
Q. Who was the MVP for MEVIUS in the 28th Ancient Citadel?
A. I have to give credit to Hollarimus, who played a vital role throughout the raid. The victory was a team effort, but Hollarimus provided the necessary direction to guide us to the end.
Q. The Ancient Citadel offers various rewards. What did MEVIUS walk away with?
A. We received the Hero-grade Heaven Stone 'Corruption Slam.' It is highly regarded for being incredibly useful in PK scenarios.
Q. What about the Crystal and Gold rewards?
A. We received 230,000 Diamonds and 700 million Gold. For a guild like MEVIUS that focuses on 'farming,' this is quite sufficient.
Q. Moving on, I heard a Deathbringer ranker is in your guild. What role does that class play?
A. The Deathbringer deals heavy damage while converting a portion into healing for self or allies. It is a fantastic hybrid class for both PvE and PvP.
Q. I see many players using 'Transmutation' in the community. Does MEVIUS use it often?
A. Yes, we do. We utilize it in hopes of obtaining Legendary items.
Q. RAVEN 2 is gradually lowering the barrier for entry to Hero-grade gear. What should a light player target first?
A. For light players, I recommend crafting basic Hero armor or weapons first, then expanding into Hero-grade accessories.
Q. A new region arrives with the late September update. Does MEVIUS have any specific expectations?
A. We are very excited. New bosses, quests, and gear upgrades are all vital for our growth. We plan to team up and hunt for new boss rewards immediately.
Q. If you were to accept new members, what classes or players are you looking for?
A. Tanks or healers would be great. More importantly, anyone who communicates well and enjoys working as a team will fit right into MEVIUS.
Q. What are the future goals for MEVIUS?
A. We want to double down on guild growth and mastering the Ancient Citadel. We will continue to challenge new content and refine our teamwork.

A. 소규모 길드라서 길드원끼리 더 친밀하게 지내는 장점이 있습니다. 그러나 다양한 콘텐츠가 존재하는 레이븐2에서는 어려움을 겪곤 해요. 길드 전쟁이나 대규모 레이드 같은 콘텐츠에서 인원이 부족할 때가 대표적입니다. 또 중요한 순간에 길드원이 다 함께 모이지 못하는 상황은 부담되죠. 그러나 이런 부분을 잘 이해하고, 조율하면서 더 끈끈하게 지내기 위해 노력합니다.

A. 고대 성채는 혼자서 헤쳐나가는 콘텐츠가 아닙니다. 그래서 길드원과 협력이 꼭 필요했어요. 좋은 커뮤니케이션과 조직적인 움직임이 경기의 승패를 좌우한다는 걸 다시 한 번 실감했습니다.
Q. 원소의 전장을 무대로 선택한 이유는?
A. 소규모 단일 길드로 우승 확률이 가장 높았습니다.
Q. 콘텐츠에 참여한 MEVIUS 길드원의 평균 레벨과 스펙은?
A. 평균 레벨은 78, 전투력은 1,700~1,800대 사이 유저가 많았습니다.
Q. 고대 성채 준비와 진행에 어려운 점은 없었나요?
A. 소규모 길드에게는 아무래도 좀 어렵죠. 인원이 적다 보니 역할 분담과 팀워크가 중요하고, 이를 잘 맞추는 게 까다롭습니다. 그래도 MEVIUS는 잘 협력해서 이겨냈습니다.
Q. 고대 성채 중간 보스는 어떻게 공략했나요? 공략 양상도 부탁합니다.
A. 고뇌의 카시안을 처치해 '굳건한 의지' 버프를 얻은 뒤, 집착의 파엔을 공략해 '진격의 함성' 버프를 받았습니다. 계속해서 갈망의 타르기스까지 처치해 '신성한 기도'까지 챙겼죠. 마지막은 최종 보스 파르나크를 정리해 우승했습니다. 각 보스의 특성을 고려한 버프 타이밍이 주요했습니다.
Q. 소규모 길드원으로 최종 보스를 쓰러트리는 건 어려웠을 것 같네요.
A. 쉽지 않았죠. 공대장 '홀라리머스' 님의 냉철한 판단과 길드원의 빠른 대응에 큰 도움을 받았습니다. 덕분에 강력한 보스와 적군의 공격에 효과적으로 대처할 수 있었어요. 정리하면, 전략적인 협력 끝에 최종 보스 공략에 성공한 셈입니다.

A. 거듭 언급하지만, 소규모 길드로 최종 보스를 공략하는 과정은 정말 쉽지 않았습니다. 홀라리머스 님이 역할을 충실하게 수행하며, 큰 활약을 했죠. 그분과 길드원의 협력 덕분에 최종 보스와 적을 쓰러트렸습니다.

A. 네, 맞습니다. 전설 아이템을 얻기 위해 연성을 사용합니다.
Q. 레이븐2는 영웅 장비 입문 난도를 점점 낮추는 분위기입니다. 만약 라이트 유저가 영웅 장비를 마련한다면, 무엇부터 노리는 게 좋을까요?
A. 라이트 유저 분이라면, 우선 방어구나 무기 같은 기본 영웅 장비부터 제작하는 게 좋습니다. 이후 영웅 장신구로 확장해 나아가는 게 바람직합니다.
