'The King of Fighters AFK' (hereinafter KOF AFK) features eight distinct buildings, including the Nests Lab. Think of these as your primary engines for growth, offering everything from research to structural upgrades. While some players might mindlessly click through the tutorials and ignore these facilities thereafter, they are, in fact, vital powerhouses for boosting your account stats. Whether it is the Garden, which helps you hoard more bouquets, or the Artifact Hall, where you must hunt for high-tier engravings, these spots are non-negotiable. Prioritise the Fountain in the Garden

Let's start with the Garden, where bouquets are harvested, and the Temple of Faith, where those bouquets are spent to inflate your stats. The cycle begins in the Garden, where you use 'Seed Pouches' to plant seeds and bloom flowers. These pouches come in Normal, Rare, and Special tiers. You can grab 8 Normal ones daily, buy up to 5 Rare ones from the Garden shop for 4,000 Rubies each, while the Special ones are reserved for event rewards.

As your flowers bloom, the rewards scale from Forget-me-nots, Lily of the Valley, and Tulips, all the way up to Roses. The catch? You never quite know what you are getting until it sprouts; you are essentially playing the odds based on the rarity tiers. Keep your eyes on the Rare seeds—they are the threshold for getting Roses. Rare pouches offer a 2% chance, while Special pouches bump that to 20%. Pro tip: you can snag one free Rare seed pouch every day by completing the dedicated Garden mission—just use fertilizer once. It is an effortless task, so do not let it slide.

While rewards vary by flower type, there is a way to squeeze out more value. As you level up your Garden, you will earn 'Garden Mileage.' Spending this raises your facility levels, and specifically, leveling up the 'Fountain' will gradually increase your total yield. It also boosts growth speed and increases the capacity for Normal seed pouches, making the Fountain your absolute priority.

Once you have gathered your bouquets, head over to the Temple of Faith to perform 'Prayers.' This is where you lock in permanent stat buffs. The system cycles through random stats across seven slots, and 'Praying' allows you to reroll them. The buff coefficients depend on the stat tier, which expands as you level up the Temple. You will see Epic tiers at level 4 and Prime tiers at level 6.

When you hit a stat you actually want, lock that slot. Keep in mind that locking more slots increases the bouquet cost for subsequent prayers. You can also set a 'Protection Tier' as an optional safety net; if you roll a tier at or above your setting, a prompt will appear to verify your choice. This is a brilliant way to prevent accidentally rerolling a high-tier stat. Always set this to the highest possible tier to minimise human error.

Cushions are also available in events

Next up is the Pet Hotel, the hub for managing your KOF AFK companions. You use a currency called 'Cushions' to upgrade the hotel level for bonus stats. The most reliable way to farm these is through the League Matches. You can trade 50 Glory Tokens for 100 Cushions in the League Shop, up to three times a day. However, since Glory Tokens are also needed for the Orochi Iori exchange, you might feel a bit of a pinch.

If you are desperate for more Cushions, look at the ongoing 'Summer Festival.' You get 2,000 for just logging in, and you can grab another 1,000 via WISH in the 'Summer Vibe' menu, plus another 3,000 by trading 20 'Aqua Coin items' in the exchange shop (up to three times). Just a word of advice: secure the priority items like the Legend Pet Koyo or Unique Pet Gobook first, and only swap for Cushions once you are sure your resources are sufficient.

Aiming for Unique Tier or higher for Master Cubics

Finally, we have the Artifact Hall. For those who joined at launch, three of the five artifacts are active, with the remaining two unlocking on the 25th day of the server. Each artifact has slots for Cubics and Master Cubics, which you engrave using 'Aqua Prisms' and 'Blood Prisms.' You can snag Aqua Prisms from High Score and World Boss Challenges, while Blood Prisms drop from Ranking and League matches. Note that the Sword and Heavenly Sphere require Aqua Prisms, while the Grimoire requires Blood Prisms.

The trick with engravings is the limit on attempts, as you cannot reroll indefinitely until you get the perfect stats. Your main focus should be the Master Cubic slot. I highly recommend aiming for at least the Unique tier, as it provides a powerful passive effect: Unique and Legend-tier Master Cubics boost the tiers of adjacent Cubics by 1 or 2 levels. Even if your standard Cubics are weak, a high-tier Master Cubic can carry them. Since the Master Cubic only affects the single adjacent tile, you will still need to level up the other Cubics individually.

Once you hit level 2 in the Artifact Hall, you unlock 'Bulk Engrave.' Use this to burn through your attempts and then use whatever is left to fish for a higher-tier Master Cubic. If you run out of attempts and are still unhappy with the results, you can reset. It is free if you have used all your attempts, but it costs a 'Hammer of Origin' if you still have attempts remaining. Be warned: resetting also wipes your existing Cubic engravings, and you do not get your prisms back. Spend your attempts chasing that Unique Master Cubic first, and then invest any remaining tries into your other Cubics.
