The stage at the Inspire Arena is set for the 2025 Woori Bank LCK Finals, and we finally know which teams are heading there. With the defending champions, Hanwha Life Esports, already through to the final on the 28th, all eyes turn to the 27th as kt Rolster and Gen.G prepare for a high-stakes clash in the lower bracket final.

Hanwha Life Esports punched their ticket to the grand final on the 20th by dismantling kt Rolster 3-0. In the first set, the mid laner 'Zeka' Kim Geon-woo’s Aurora and bot laner 'Viper' Park Do-hyeon’s Corki gobbled up every one of the team's 15 kills, resulting in a 15-5 blowout. The second set saw veteran jungler 'Peanut' Han Wang-ho bring the thunder with Pantheon, landing perfectly timed Grand Starfalls. For the third set, Hanwha Life Esports threw a curveball with a crowd-control-heavy draft featuring Sejuani, Twisted Fate, and a surprise Camille pick from support 'Delight' Yoo Hwan-joong. Despite kt Rolster’s attempts to scale up their Smolder, Hanwha Life Esports dictated the pace, constantly forcing fights and executing flawless combos to seal the series.

Having claimed victory at the 2024 LCK Summer in Gyeongju, Hanwha Life Esports has now secured a spot in the final of the newly revamped single-season 2025 LCK, keeping their hopes of a title defense alive. This marks the first time the organization has managed to skip the final gauntlet and wait comfortably in the grand final.

Gen.G, a team that posted a staggering 29-1 record during the regular season, secured their own ticket to the Inspire Arena after a grueling full-series battle against their arch-rivals, T1, in the lower bracket round 3.

Gen.G dropped down to the lower bracket round 3 following a surprise upset by kt Rolster last week, setting up the showdown with T1. T1, meanwhile, had been relegated to the lower bracket round 2 after a loss to Hanwha Life Esports, but managed to secure their League of Legends World Championship ticket with a 3-1 win against Dplus KIA on the 18th.

The clash between Gen.G and T1 on the 21st was a nail-biter. In the first set, Gen.G looked to be on the back foot in terms of kills, but they snatched victory from the jaws of defeat by winning two consecutive team fights after the 30-minute mark. T1 dominated the second set 19-4 and the third set 15-5, seemingly destined for Incheon. However, Gen.G rallied in the fourth set by drafting Blitzcrank and Skarner to pull T1 out of position. In the deciding fifth set, mid laner 'Chovy' Jeong Ji-hoon’s Vex racked up multi-kills in every skirmish, securing a 3-2 series victory.

Having taken down T1, Gen.G now has a shot at redemption against kt Rolster in the final qualifier at the Inspire Arena on Saturday, the 27th. T1, following the loss, is now set to face the LPL’s 4th seed in a best-of-five series during the League of Legends World Championship Play-ins in Beijing, China, on October 14th (Tuesday).
