Raven 2 has just rolled out a massive update this week. After plenty of hype, we have finally arrived in the Land of Warriors, Rungard. I wasted no time diving into the new regional bestiary, and to my surprise, the fields were already teeming with players. If you are looking for fresh pastures, it is time to pack your bags and head over.

The wait is over: Rungard is officially open!

This week's major update has finally pulled the curtain back on the new region, the Land of Warriors, Rungard. Designed for players level 75 and up, it features 20 distinct hunting grounds. Naturally, they have included a fresh set of main and sub-quests, alongside Special Ops missions. The main story kicks off with 'Chapter 28: Retaking the Throne' and wraps up with 'Chapter 32: The End of Despair'—a perfect excuse to grind for some levels.

Do not forget to check the new equipment and item collections. We are looking at a total of 109 new items, including 48 weapons, 36 pieces of armour, 21 accessories, 3 runes, and 1 Heavenstone. Once you have farmed your new gear, make sure to add it to the 113 newly added collections. A quick heads-up: the new Heavenstone is the Hero-grade ranged attribute 'Triple Nine Break', which drops from the 4-star field boss, 'Lady of Desire Velamonica'.

The Special Ops Manual has also been updated with new pages for the Monster and Regional Bestiaries. The rewards for completing the region include two Advanced Saint Summoning tickets, one Advanced Familiar summoning ticket, one Advanced Stella summoning ticket, and a Rungard Exploration Reward. Opening that exploration pack nets you 11-pull tickets for Saints, Familiars, and Stellas. From my own testing, if your top 3 combat power exceeds 800, you can clear this out with a bit of focus.

Server Transfer & Class Change Season

The season for server transfers and class changes is upon us. Transfers run until September 30, 23:59, with options for both account and guild transfers. Each costs 1,000 Crystals, with a limit of two per account. Note that account transfers require a 10-minute approval window from the guild leader, so effective cut-off is 23:49. Class change tickets will stop selling on October 1 at 04:59.

Q. I summoned the Legendary Familiar Infernus—should I commit to it?
A. You should always accept a Legendary Contract Summon.

In Raven 2, obtaining Hero-grade or higher Saints or Familiars triggers a confirmation phase, giving you about 7 days to decide whether to re-summon. A player going by 'Kimbella' is currently stuck in this limbo. They pulled the Legendary Familiar Infernus, but its performance is not quite what they were after. Infernus is tailored for PK, but Kimbella is not a PK-focused player.

The player also asked if Contract Summon exclusives appear in the re-summon pool—wondering if only standard Familiars show up—and if the Legendary Guaranteed Summon in the shop can still be purchased after 50 attempts.

User 'No13' stepped in to clear things up. They advised that you should always accept the Legendary Familiar, even if it is your first one, because Contract exclusives are notoriously hard to get later. As for the second question, No13 confirmed that Contract Summon exclusives do not appear in the re-summon pool.

The answer to the final question is a hard 'No'. Once you hit 50 pulls, the feature is locked. Since the value lies in the pity system, there is no point in continuing anyway.

Q. Between Combat Expert and Focus, which one should I drop from my Heavenstone setup?
A. For grinding, it is more efficient to stick to a single buff.

A Divine Caster named 'SafetyFirst' asked for advice on their Heavenstone setup. They are currently running three active skills and three buffs. They want to know if they should swap out one of their buffs—Combat Expert or Focus—for an active skill, and which one to ditch.

Users 'Unique' and 'Agnesda' weighed in. Unique suggested dropping Combat Expert, while Agnesda provided a more detailed breakdown. They argued that for grinding, a single buff is enough, and high-grade Heavenstone skills offer better value. Therefore, keep Combat Expert as your sole buff and fill the remaining slots with active skills.

They highly recommended Holy Fire and Holy Light. Holy Fire, in particular, has a very short 12-second cooldown, which is further reduced upon killing an enemy. Divine Casters, take note.

Hero-grade Familiar giveaway to celebrate the big update

Finally, the event news. To celebrate the update, there is a special attendance event. Over 7 days, you can snag a Hero-grade Familiar ticket, 100 Warrior's Tokens, 2 Treasure Chests of Retaking, and a Warrior's Ancient Vault. You get a guaranteed Hero-grade Familiar just for logging in once. The Ancient Vault is a loot box containing chances at Hero or Legendary grade Saints, Familiars, and Stellas.

Warrior's Tokens are used for crafting in the 'Event' menu. You can earn more by completing the 'Warrior's Proof 1' mission, which requires killing 200,000 monsters to claim all 100 tokens. Both events wrap up on October 21 at 04:59.

7-day Rungard Exploration Mission

The 'Rungard Exploration Mission' unlocks a new set of tasks over 7 days, ending on October 21 at 04:59. It is a great way to stock up on buff potions, time chargers, and upgrade stones. The star rewards are the 'Elite Warrior's Medals', which can be registered in your item collection for limited-time buffs—specifically MP recovery, damage reduction, execution chance, and double-hit chance. The final reward for completion is another 100 Warrior's Tokens.
