As we reach the tail end of September, we are seeing plenty to sink our teeth into, thanks to the Return of the Mount Hua collaboration and a substantial update. While there is a deluge of content, the power-ranking elites are clearly fixated on one thing: the unlimited class change benefit. Expect a major shift in the meta following this Meca Ranking report. Note that this week’s chart was compiled just before the update maintenance, serving as a baseline before the mass migration of classes begins.

The general trend? The rich get richer. Players continue to flock to already popular classes, while niche picks suffer. The Warlock and Archer are the poster children for this surge, with their attack power counts rising by 22 and 24 respectively—a noticeable 2.7 percentage point bump.

For the big guns, 2.7 percentage points might seem like a rounding error, but for the underdogs, it is a game-changer. Take the Gunner, for example; a mere 0.7 percentage point rise was enough to catapult them from 11th to 7th place. Following their climb in the Dungeon Race class distribution, the Gunner’s popularity among high-ranking players seems to be gaining serious momentum. It will be fascinating to see if these emerging threats can truly take flight during the unlimited class change window.

Level rankings and class preferences for the boost servers 'Maehwa Geomjon·Hwasan Sinryong'

Two new servers have launched to celebrate the Mount Hua collaboration. With growth buffs, full gear sets, and a 1+2 level-up perk, they are buzzing with new and returning players. Naturally, we took a peek at the growth rates and class distribution on these fresh grounds.

Both servers show similar growth trajectories, though the competition on Maehwa Geomjon feels a bit sharper. The first page of the level rankings is dominated by level 48 Hongmun players, whereas Hwasan Sinryong sees a shared level range from 1st to 6th place, with a wider gap thereafter. The 1+2 level-up mechanic has effectively created ranking tiers at 3-level intervals.

While the Blade Dancer holds the top spot on both, the rest of the pack differs. Maehwa Geomjon favors the Artilleryman and Gunner, while Hwasan Sinryong sees the Dual Blade and Destroyer breaking into the top 5. Of course, keep in mind that the unlimited class change event is in effect. Everything is currently in flux, and players are clearly more interested in experimenting than settling down. It will be a delight to compare the long-term trends.

Mythical Guardian Spirit special option statistics

While classes and spirits are bracing for change, the Mythical Guardian Spirits remain eerily quiet. The rankings are almost identical to last week, with the only swap being the Moon Rabbit replacing the 'Cheonbingho' in 5th place. Since both are utility-focused spirits for hunting and fishing, it is hardly a seismic shift.

As for special options, the decline of popular choices is the real story. It is hard to pinpoint a single cause, but the data suggests an uptick in niche options. Rather than a meta shift, this likely reflects high-ranking players tinkering with specific setups.

Guardian Spirit combination statistics based on leaders

The Guardian Spirits just received a major update. With 2nd reincarnation for Ancient grade and the addition of an appearance system, the high-end meta is shifting. Some elite players have started upgrading, but the sample size is too thin for the charts yet. As for the appearance system, players are simply equipping the highest stat items, regardless of synergy.

Overall, the trend mirrors the spirits: popular leaders are dipping. Many players are busy re-tuning their sets for the new Mount Hua spirits or preparing for 2nd reincarnation. We will need to wait and see how the dust settles.

Jeolsemiin Server Attack Power #1 'PinkD JegalYeoshin'

This week, we analyzed the attack power leader from the newer Jeolsemiin server: 'PinkD JegalYeoshin'. Playing as a Warlock with a combat power exceeding 9.2 million, this player is on the verge of completing the 10-piece Jucheon set, missing only the gloves.

The setup prioritizes balance, a preferred approach for the Warlock. Most re-forging stats focus on defense and critical damage reduction. Furthermore, by equipping 'Intense Galaxy Seonghwajo' and 'Sword Saint Bicheon', the player ensures solid combat sustainability.

The skill badges also lean towards defense. By equipping the latest 'Mu-ap' and 'Guardian's Dignity' badges, the player maximizes damage reduction from special stances and player-versus-player encounters. For re-forging, they have opted for 'Sasin Gangrim·Blood Mist·Hidden Weapon Release'. Take note, as these are solid choices.
