Raven 2 kicked off its server transfer and class change season on September 25. With the former ending on September 30 and the latter on the morning of October 1, we pulled our data on the second day of the event. To put it bluntly, the stale rankings that defined the month of September have been completely upended, with significant shifts in market share across both the Korean and Global regions.

First, let us examine the popular class charts for each server in the Korean region. Most servers experienced a shake-up, and it is clear that Night Ranger and Divine Caster have cemented their dominance. These two now hold the top two spots across every server, leaving the rest of the pack to scrap for third place. In this scramble, the momentum of Assassin and Vanguard has noticeably faltered, creating a power vacuum being filled by Deathbringer, Berserker, and Destroyer.

The Vanguard, in particular, is suffering a significant loss in influence. While they secured a top-three spot in five servers last week, that number has dropped to just two this week, recording 14% in Nox-Mors and 6% in Sol-Mors.

Assassin is also on a downward trajectory, though the damage is relatively contained. They dropped from 15 servers to 12 in the top three—a testament to their status as a top-three class in Raven 2, allowing them to weather the shift in distribution. In the meantime, Deathbringer is casting a long shadow over the Assassin's position; let us move on to the overall class distribution chart for a more detailed breakdown.

Overall Class Analysis

Following the sale of server transfer and class change tickets, players flocked to Night Ranger and Divine Caster, which saw their shares climb by 0.7% and 0.8% respectively. Already the reigning kings of Raven 2, these two are steadily widening the chasm between themselves and the bottom-tier classes.

The middle-tier (3rd to 7th place) is where the real chaos is happening. Assassin lost 1.1% of its share, and Vanguard dropped 0.8%. It seems the pie slices gained by Night Ranger and Divine Caster came directly from these two. Meanwhile, Deathbringer has expanded its share by 0.8%, closing the gap with the 3rd-place Assassin to just 1%—a throne-toppling looks inevitable in the near future.

The Vanguard’s decline has paved the way for the Berserker’s rise. Thanks to Vanguard’s heavy losses and a minor dip by the Destroyer, the Berserker climbed two spots to hit a tie for 5th place in just one week. It will be interesting to see if this momentum carries them back into the mid-tier.

Global Class Analysis

The Global region sees no change in the actual ranking order, though the movement in market share has been more volatile than last week. Like the Korean region, Divine Caster, Night Ranger, and Berserker have increased their foothold. For Assassin and Deathbringer, the rankings remain static, and a turnaround is a long way off; a 3% gap is not a wall that is easily scaled.

What is truly striking is the battle between Elementalist and Destroyer. Unlike the Korean region, the Global region still boasts a high number of Elementalist rankers. However, their trend lines are converging, with the gap narrowing to a mere 0.1%. Keep an eye on this space next week to see if we get a reversal.

Guild Dungeon Ranking Records

Fresh blood has hit the guild dungeon ranking charts. PIG from Nox-Fides and 'Come play at Animal Crossing' from Lux-Salus cleared stage 5 to instantly jump into the top ranks. PIG secured 3rd place with 12 minutes and 53 seconds, while 'Come play at Animal Crossing' took 5th at 14 minutes and 10 seconds. Plenty of other guilds are also shaving down their times to challenge the top 20.

The established powerhouses are also cutting their times. The 1st-place 'Royal is mine' improved their stage 5 clear from 10 minutes and 18 seconds to 9 minutes and 50 seconds. While 'Myth Red' slipped one spot, they successfully reduced their time from 19 minutes and 30 seconds to 18 minutes and 58 seconds. It is anyone’s guess how high the ceiling will go and if any other guilds can close the gap.

Raven 2 Meca Ranking User Poll

Last week's poll asked what players wanted to see improved in Raven 2. The result was a tie for first place, both related to class adjustments: improving class balance and enhancing the unique traits of each skill set. It feels like these two requests are essentially two sides of the same coin.
