'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH' (hereinafter 'SKRB') Meca Ranking is here. With a new hero just over the horizon, the Arena has spent the last week in a state of stagnant meta. As the Platon composition solidifies its grip, any hero failing to align with this trend has seen their standing slip. According to the latest developer notes, we are expecting a proper shake-up with the upcoming update. For now, let’s take a look at the current team formation stats just before the storm.

'Silvester' sees a consecutive pick rate surge following the buff update.

Since Silvester entered the charts, the Platon offensive formation has reached a new level of completion. Consequently, former staples like 'Rin, Yeonhee, and Juri' have been unable to stop their downward slide. With 'Melkior, Vanessa, and Colt' cementing themselves as the core of the Platon party, the more replaceable magic-type heroes are clearly feeling the heat.

Among them, Silvester has emerged as the 'one-pick' favorite. Thanks to the recent buffs, his survivability is being lauded by the community. By pairing his inherent authority, blessings, and life-steal with a resurrection ring and debuff removal synergy, he’s become a rare breed: an offensive-set hero who simply refuses to die.

Though not a primary arena contender, another hero frequently paired with Silvester has made waves. Orly, a core member of magic decks in Total War, has been tethered to Silvester in that mode, though she had yet to crack the first tier in the Arena. In this count, her pick rate dipped slightly to 4.7%, but she still managed to break into the charts at 13th place.

Maintaining the status quo ahead of the 'Offensive Formation & Lu' update.

As for formations, the offensive setup is soaring, mirroring the rising pick rate of Platon. It has broken into the 70% range with a 4% point increase, proving its dominance. The default formation, which used to be seen once or twice among 300 players, has effectively vanished from this chart. Naturally, balance and defensive formations have both continued their decline.

With the arena meta locked in, pet pick rates are following a similar trajectory. Lu, with its defensive buff, is on the verge of hitting 50%, and apart from a minor rise for Yeonji, everything else is trending downwards. Arena pet usage is the first thing to shift when a new meta hits, so these numbers are the canary in the coal mine for the upcoming update. I’m certainly looking forward to the next report.

'Silvester' secures his spot in the Platon party.

The Platon composition relies heavily on 'Magic Backflow,' which mandates a strict three-magic-hero setup. Since Platon’s debut, many magic-type heroes have cycled through the ranks, but the party listed above is the current gold standard.

Unlike the squishier 'Rin, Yeonhee, and Juri,' this setup relies on Silvester to bolster stability. As matches drag on, the defensive-set Platon, the stealth-and-authority-wielding Colt, and Silvester remain on the field to dictate the pace of battle.

I recommend setting both of Melkior’s skills to 'Reserve.' Even if the relatively fragile Melkior falls early, keeping that Magic Backflow active is paramount. Even if he burns his skills and retreats immediately, his allies, especially Silvester, will make good use of the remaining buffs.

Total War Pick of the Week

4th Place in the Final Round: 'Focal'

The final round of Total War has concluded, and we are in the middle of season settlement. While most top-tier rankers are running identical setups, one player stood out with an experimental approach. Today, we’re analyzing the 5th team of 'Focal,' who finished 4th this season. The squad consists of Karma Defense, Platon Magic, Teo Offense, Kris Instant Death, and Orly Magic—the standard fare for the elite.

The focus here is on the first team: the Karma Defense deck. Instead of the usual Lina, who handles buffs, debuffs, and healing, Focal opted for Leo. The standard strategy involves Alice and Lina maintaining constant healing, allowing Jave and Karma to slowly whittle down the opponent. Dropping Lina for Leo significantly reduces that sustain.

It seems the trade-off Focal was chasing is Leo’s 'Instant Death Immunity.' It’s a reactive strategy—given that almost every Total War team now runs an Instant Death squad, providing immunity to a defensive deck that otherwise struggles against it is a smart play. Since he’s already a top ranker, it's hard to measure the raw impact, but finishing 4th proves it wasn't just a gimmick. If Leo keeps appearing, it’s a sign of a shifting tide.

Seven Knights Re:BIRTH User Poll

Last week’s poll asked adventurers to choose between transcending the new heroes Klahan or Miho. The results are in: Miho, currently a peak pick for Raids, narrowly defeated Klahan. It was a roughly 2:1 split in her favor, proving it was a tough call for many.

Our next poll focuses on legendary rings, celebrating the upcoming accessory combination system. According to the developer notes, there are two methods: 'Fixed Combination' to guarantee the ring you want, and 'Random Combination.' The latter is expected to be more popular due to lower material costs.
