Let’s shift our gaze to the mobile charts. Our first October tally shows a noticeable surge from titles that dropped in September. While 'The Starlight' maintains a firm grip on the top tier, two newcomers are stealing the limelight. The former debuted in 5th place during its initial entry and has held its ground firmly, which is no mean feat in the crowded TOP 10.

The latter duo consists of 'R2 Origin' and 'Goddess Order', landing at 12th and 13th respectively. You might think their impact is muted given the recent influx of top-tier debuts, but securing 12th and 13th place straight out of the gate is a solid achievement. Many titles don't even make it onto the chart at all.

Between the two, R2 Origin is an MMORPG that reimagines Webzen’s steady-selling 'R2' IP using Unreal Engine 5. It launched on September 25 and explores a parallel universe within the R2 lore. With its established brand recognition, launch hype, and a slew of events, I expect its search volume to trend upward for the foreseeable future.

As for Goddess Order, it’s Kakao Games’ latest offering this year—a side-scrolling action RPG dressed in retro 2D pixel art. It promises a tactile combat experience optimized for mobile, focusing on precise timing for dodges and counters. The defining feature here is a tag-combat system where you switch between three characters instead of relying on mindless auto-battles.

Goddess Order went live globally on September 24 and snagged the #1 spot on Google Play charts in both Korea and Taiwan within a single day. It’s a blistering start, and it will be interesting to see if this momentum carries over into the weekly big data charts and beyond.

Meanwhile, 'Mabinogi Mobile' has reclaimed the top spot following a massive update. With fresh content, new regions, and dungeons thrown into the mix, it’s only logical that it would climb back to the summit. If it keeps this pace, it could easily leave the runner-up pack in the dust.

Online – A New Season Effect? Diablo 4 Climbs Four Spots

'Diablo 4' has climbed four places, beginning its journey to re-enter the TOP 10. The new season, which kicked off on September 24, has clearly fueled the surge in search volume. The update brings the formidable Lord of Chaos, Bartuk, as a boss, alongside new Chaos Affixes, a new gear tier, and fresh boss/tribute content for the Infernal Hordes.

And that’s not all. There is the small matter of 'StarCraft' heroes invading the world of Sanctuary. On September 26, Blizzard announced a collaboration between Diablo 4 and StarCraft. By 4:00 AM on September 27, this crossover went live, introducing StarCraft-themed skills, mounts, and pets into the game.

The lineup includes the Rebel Sheriff Barbarian (Jim Raynor), the Heavenly Devil Druid (Arcturus Mengsk), the Swarm Queen Necromancer (Zagara), the Dark Prelate Rogue (Zeratul), the High Templar Sorcerer (Tassadar), and the Queen of Blades Spiritborn (Kerrigan). There are six in total, and seeing Mengsk with that distinct infested-Terran look is quite a sight. These skins are available for purchase in the in-game shop.

Mounts and pets feature Zergling and Hydralisk themes, respectively. Thanks to this rollout, Diablo 4’s metrics look significantly healthier than last week. Looking at this week’s numbers, it’s sitting right behind 13th-place 'Mabinogi', making an overtake highly probable in the next count. However, with 'TalesRunner' standing guard at 12th place, further progress remains shrouded in fog. We’ll have to wait and see.

Steam – FC 26 Debuts at 3rd

'PUBG' and 'Hollow Knight: Silksong' are locked in a fierce rivalry. After Silksong claimed the top spot last week, PUBG has swiftly snatched the crown back. Search interest remains neck-and-neck, and I suspect this competition is far from over.

That said, the variable here is that Silksong’s growth has slowed for the first time since its release. The raw numbers haven't plummeted, but the initial fire has dampened. Given the nature of single-player games, search volume often drops off sharply once the release hype fades, making the next tally absolutely critical. Whether this is a temporary dip or the start of a decline, eyes are on the charts.

On another note, Steam—the 'cornucopia of charts'—has welcomed another big rookie: EA’s latest franchise entry, 'EA SPORTS FC 26'. It launched on September 26 and debuted at 3rd in our weekly big data ranking. It’s a strong start for the top three, though early Steam reviews are 'Mixed (50% positive)', so it will be fascinating to see how the community reception pans out.

'Little Witch in the Woods', 'Shape of Dreams (33rd, NEW)', and 'Hades 2 (39th, NEW)' are also promising prospects. Each is using its unique charm to tempt Steam gamers’ wallets. Pre-registration – A Wave of Heavy Hitters!

The pre-registration chart is seeing an influx of major titles. The one turning the most heads is 'Crimson Desert', which grabbed 2nd place in its first appearance. After a long wait, they’ve finally locked in a release date and opened pre-service. The launch is set for March 19, 2026, in North America, across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure game set in the continent of Pywel, following the story of mercenary leader Kliff and the Grey Mane company as they attempt to save the land. Alongside the announcement, they revealed details for three distinct editions. Keep in mind that pre-purchases for the Standard and Deluxe editions are already live on Steam.

Other rookies include 'Astellia M', 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin', and 'Wadada Dungeon Run'. Notably, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin confirmed a global release date of January 28, 2026, at Tokyo Game Show 2025, with a closed beta test scheduled to begin on October 30.
