Exusiai, once the absolute cornerstone character during the game's early days, has made a triumphant return.

Yostar confirmed on the 14th that they have rolled out 'The Great Journey' update for Arknights. This patch brings five new characters, fresh event stages, and a generous heap of new skins and activities.

The event stages are split into three distinct phases—'Snowy Path to the Cathedral', 'Encounter with the Divine', and 'Rest in Peace'—which will unlock sequentially. Complete the limited missions to secure the 6-star operator 'Sancta Mixapara' and a variety of in-game items.

A new limited-time banner is also live. You can pull for three new operators: the 6-stars 'Exusiai the Exalter' and 'Lemuen', plus the 5-star 'Gracebearer'. Notably, Exusiai the Exalter is a much more formidable evolution of the original 6-star sniper Exusiai, who was an absolute fan-favourite back at launch.

This massive update is accompanied by a raft of events. Simply logging in nets you daily headhunting attempts and Orundum. Check in for 10 days to claim a 'Model Believer' headhunting permit and the PhonoR-0 exclusive collection. Furthermore, players who clear main stage 1-10 before the 30th can boost their reward program level via 'Dual Channel: Green Grassville' to unlock event furniture and profile assets.

On top of that, there is a fresh wave of cosmetics, including two 'Test Collection' series, 'Iteration Provident', 'Bloodline of Combat', 'Epoch', and 'Achievement Star' series. New themed furniture like 'Descendants of the Sea' and 'Paganini's Gunsmith Shop' are also available.

Meanwhile, Arknights is kicking off a collaboration with GS25 running from the 15th to December 15th. During this period, you can grab special bento boxes that include Arknights coupons, or bakery items that come with one of 80 random collectible stickers. Starting the 17th, three special themed stores in Seoul (Hapjeong Premium, Gangnam Dongwon, and The Gwanak) will also stock exclusive merchandise.
