With skill sets and effects tailored for PvP, many predicted they would shake up the Arena—and they didn't disappoint, successfully climbing onto the pick-rate charts. With several other heroes riding this wave of momentum, we have to ask: did they finally manage to topple the long-standing Platon meta? Let's dive into the stats and team compositions.

The trio commanding the center: 'Kagura, Amelia, and Phae'

Here is the debut report card for our newcomers. Both heroes secured a spot in the mid-chart rankings immediately upon release. Amelia hit 17.7%, tying with Phae, while Kagura edged ahead by 0.3 percentage points to take 7th place with 18%. It is quite amusing to see the three offensive hero sisters neck and neck. While their stats are similar, the interesting twist is that they are being utilized in slightly different party setups.

Amelia has slotted into existing Platon compositions, while Kagura serves as a core offensive pillar alongside Phae and Teo. The former focuses on survivability, while the latter leans into raw damage. They do share one commonality: anti-healing utility. Kagura’s 'Liberation - Palsageom' suppresses incoming healing for four enemies by up to 68%, while Amelia’s 'Crisis Response' skill renders the enemy with the highest defense 'Unhealable.' These are particularly nasty tools to use against a Platon-led team.

With healing suppression sorted, the only thing left to deal with is death-trigger effects like immortality and resurrection. It seems Juri was the perfect hero to handle that cleanup. The number of high-ranking players utilizing her signature 'Extinction' skill has surged, resulting in a 27.7 percentage point spike in her pick rate. She has climbed to 5th place overall, officially becoming the most popular hero among the 'Old Seven Knights.' She seems to have cemented her status as an irreplaceable staple in Platon teams.

Platon indicators drop alongside 'Attack Formation' pick rates

Platon’s sky-high pick rate has finally dipped, and the Arena formations have reacted quite sensitively. The 'Attack Formation,' often dubbed the 'Platon-exclusive setup,' saw an 8% drop. The biggest beneficiary of this shift is the 'Balance Formation,' the preferred choice for the offensive parties we mentioned earlier. Along with the 'Protection Formation,' its pick rate has seen a modest rise.

Pet pick rates also reflect Platon’s waning influence. Lu managed to hold his own with a 1% point increase, but Pike suffered a 5% drop. Seizing that opportunity is Erin, the preferred pet for offensive parties. A 13% point boost propelled her to 3rd place. While the gap is still significant, the trend suggests she will continue to climb in the next update.

The new joker for Platon teams: 'Amelia'

As our analysis suggests, the Arena atmosphere is rapidly evolving following the new hero releases. We are currently in a complex tug-of-war between offensive and defensive parties, but Platon squads have found their own unique answer. It is a 'Platon-Amelia' combo—a classic case of fighting fire with fire.

Amelia’s core strength lies in her ability to inflict 'Unhealable' on the enemy with the highest defense and lock down opponents with a high-probability 'Concussion' debuff. Initially, we expected her to be a counter to Platon teams, but instead, Platon teams have adopted her as a staple. The secret is her passive skill, 'Advanced Nano Suit.' If Amelia falls, she resurrects once with 55% HP while granting a shield and debuff cleanse to two allies. It is a perfect fit for the 'turtle' strategy of Platon parties.

Consequently, Colt has been dropped from the previous standard lineup. Amelia has taken her place as a permanent member, and many top-tier players are already seeing great results. In a meta where you are constantly facing other Platon teams, choosing Amelia is the smart move to suppress them.

Total War Pick of the Week

19th Round 2nd place: 'Poral'

Seven Knights Re:Verse is currently in the settlement period before the next Total War season. This week’s pick features the 5-team composition from 'Poral,' who finished 2nd in the 19th round. As a player who always experiments with unique lineups, I was eager to see how they would integrate the new heroes.

As expected, Kagura and Amelia both secured spots. Kagura is utilized as a status-effect dealer within the existing Jave instant-death party. The core of this squad relies on Jave’s stun, Nia and Eileen’s electrocution, and Kagura’s petrification. The player also opted for the 'Cri' pet to maximize the hit probability for these effects.

The Amelia party is nearly identical to our 'Best Pick of the Week.' However, they swapped Silvester for Rin to increase the weight of skill damage, while leveraging Rin’s confusion debuff to boost the win rate. While they couldn't snatch 1st place, securing 2nd in the 19th round proves the effectiveness of the new heroes.

Seven Knights Re:Verse User Poll

To celebrate the accessory combination system update, we surveyed preferences for 6-star legendary rings. While they are notoriously difficult to obtain, now is a great time to attempt 6-star combinations if you have spare 5-star rings. Since there is now a guaranteed way to acquire them, I was curious to see what everyone would craft.

The result? The 'Ring of Resurrection' took an overwhelming 1st place. 78.6% of participating adventurers wanted this ring, while 21.4% voted for the 'Ring of Immortality.' The 'Ring of Authority' received zero votes, likely because, unlike other rings where performance scales significantly with rank, the 'Authority' ring only changes its shield coefficient. A bit of a letdown, that.

For our next user poll, let’s revisit the 'Advent Expedition.' We previously asked which of the four former Four Lords appearing as phantoms seemed the easiest to handle, and Kyle took the top spot.
