Since the major skill rebalancing back in August, one class has been steadily gaining traction: the Gunslinger, a powerhouse in current PvE content. While it didn't turn many heads immediately after the patch, the recent 'Unlimited Class Change' event gave players a reason to re-evaluate its potential. It has climbed the ranks among combat power elites, surging to a 15% share to claim second place.

However, due to excessive damage output that clearly exceeded the developers' intentions, it has become a target for rebalancing once again. The damage coefficient of its core skill, 'Falling Blossom', has been trimmed, though the damage of 'Black Whirlwind' received a slight bump. The same logic was applied to the reforge stats of Skill Badges and Skill Potential enhancements. Additionally, the Sniper stance skill can now be cancelled, and the 2-cycle effect's attack power has been bolstered. In short: they nerfed the explosive damage of 'Falling Blossom' while giving the rest a gentle nudge upward.

As the Gunslinger went through this turbulence, several other classes saw their presence noticeably dwindle. Both the Archer and the Gunner, who share the same battlefield niche, suffered. The latter in particular, having held onto third place for quite some time, plummeted to sixth in just two weeks as the Gunslinger hype took over. The Archer managed to put up a decent fight, holding steady at 3rd place with a 9.6% share.

However, it seems unlikely the Gunslinger's meteoric rise will continue indefinitely. With the aforementioned skill nerfs and the 'Unlimited Class Change' event still ongoing, there are plenty of variables left in play. It is worth noting that this chart was compiled just before the skill adjustments, so 15% might very well be the Gunslinger's peak.

Boosting Server 'Maehwageomjon/Hwasansinryong' Level Ranking and Class Preference

Growth has slowed down slightly now that the 'Boosting World' players have surpassed Hongmoon level 60. Top-tier rankers have gained 9 levels in two weeks; however, since these servers benefit from a 1+2 level-up bonus, that actually represents only 3 levels of raw effort. We are still a ways off from the event cap of Hongmoon level 80, but I suspect we will see players hitting the 72-75 range by next week.

Meanwhile, the two servers are beginning to look rather similar in terms of class popularity. Like the veteran servers, the Gunslinger has shot to the top. It is particularly prominent in Hwasansinryong, where the top 5 classes include the Gunslinger, Blade Master, Warlock, and Sword Master. The only real divergence is the Gunner's performance in Maehwageomjon versus the Destroyer's activity in Hwasansinryong.

Mythic Guardian Spirit Special Option Statistics

The Mythic Guardian Spirits haven't seen much drama, maintaining their usual status quo. The only real variable is the rise of the Gunslinger, though the data suggests that players haven't felt the need to change their Guardian Spirit setups despite switching classes. The 'Intense Galaxy Jecheon Daeseong' remains the undisputed king of PvP, while 'Harsh Sun Torimwang' continues to lead the PvE charts. As the popular spirits haven't shifted, the special options remain locked in place as well.

Even though it has been quite a while since the 2nd reincarnation for Ancient-grade Guardian Spirits was introduced, players are still mixing in 1st reincarnation spirits. The performance gap isn't exactly massive, but since the 1st reincarnation isn't the peak, its usage is slowly tapering off. This segment has remained indifferent to the Gunslinger news, with 'Fleet Admiral Eun Gwang-il' successfully holding onto the top spot.

Surpassing 5.9 million combat power! 'Hasigi'

It seems like more Destroyers are hitting the combat power ceiling among rankers lately. This week’s star is 'Hasigi' from the Yuadokjon server. Although the data collection timing meant they didn't make the official Top 20 list, my analysis caught them breaking through the 5.9 million combat power barrier.

The secret to this climb is, predictably, the influence of Mythic gear. They’ve fully kitted out with a 20-enhanced Jucheon Axe and a set of 8 Jucheon/2 Jinwol pieces. To top it off, they’ve adopted the 'Piercing Suppression' manual, which provides a massive boost to piercing stats, creating a Destroyer that balances both offensive pressure and defensive resilience.

The choice of Skill Badges is particularly telling, clearly designed to counter the recent influx of Gunslingers. The 'Seven Stars' badge in the defensive slot reduces incoming zone damage by 51.75%—likely a direct response to the Gunslinger's 'Falling Blossom' zone damage. They also added the latest 'Pressure' badge to bolster their PvP defensive threshold, while using 'Yeonghyeon' in the support slot to compensate for the Destroyer's sluggish movement. It is a thoughtful, multifaceted setup tailored for the harsh realities of the battlefield.

B&S Revolution User Poll

In our last poll, we asked players how they actually felt about recent content improvements. A massive cleanup of legacy systems has been underway since the launch of B&S Revolution. It seems the removal of the 'Guardian Beast' system resonated most, grabbing 53.7% of the vote, while the removal of the Skill Badge expansion system followed with 37%. Changes like deleting recovery potions and adjusting potion bags seemed to be less impactful for most players.
