NEXON has rolled out the new 'Dark Shaman' class for Mabinogi Mobile, the MMORPG crafted by their subsidiary, devCAT, as of the 16th.

The Dark Shaman is a healer-type class wielding a ceremonial dagger. While unleashing skills, a 'corruption' gauge builds up; once it crosses the threshold, your skills get a significant boost, though you'll find your health chipping away constantly. You'll need to manage this trade-off with some tactical finesse if you want to survive.

To celebrate the arrival of this new class, NEXON is pushing a growth event. Through November 13, the 'Dark Shaman Class Growth Boost' event rewards your level progression with goodies like a 6-star Legendary Accessory Rune Selection Box, Spirit Traces, and the Enchant Scroll: Fox. Furthermore, a 7-day login event offers up Rune Fragments, Epic Alchemy Combustion Catalysts, and Mystic Dungeon Dimension Keys.

They’ve also set the stage for the Halloween season. By taking down mobs in dungeons and hunting grounds, you can collect 'Welcome Paw Stamps.' Exchange these by the 30th for items such as Mystic Dungeon Dimension Keys, Rune Reset Prisms, Gem Skill Crafters, and Rough Star Prisms. Come the 30th, you can jump into a special Halloween mini-game where you play tag to sniff out fake Ratmen.

On top of that, if you log in by the 19th, you’ll snag an on-time event bundle featuring various Alchemy Combustion Catalysts and bizarre transformation potions—yes, you can turn into a lamppost, a flower pot, or even a wooden barrel. Plus, snap a photo at the Dunbarton Halloween photo zone before November 13 for even more rewards.
