New Heroes 'Kyle & Aquila' Descend!

Kyle, who commands a massive following from the original game, has finally made his grand entrance in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH. The scenario event 'Root of the Storm That Destroyed the Heavens,' featuring him as the protagonist, has sent adventurers into a tailspin. While Aquila, a member of the Night Crow, might feel like she is playing second fiddle, her simultaneous release has certainly turned heads.

What has everyone buzzing is the raw performance of these two. Kyle, when paired with at least three Attack-type heroes, triggers a total damage immunity shield. He also comes with a 'Watchful Eye' buff, allowing him to snipe the enemy's main dealer with ease. It is a brilliant mix of survivability and firepower, making him a dominant force in the Arena, according to early user feedback.

Aquila, on the other hand, is a Defense-type hero who plays with the instant-death mechanic. Previously, instant-death characters were one-trick ponies, but Aquila introduces a unique mechanism that reduces the turns required for the effect to trigger. Plus, her link effect distributes incoming damage evenly across allies, significantly boosting team survivability. Since the theory-crafting for Kyle is still in full swing, we will have to wait and see where Aquila truly excels.

Q. Are the main stats for the Old Four Lords equipment fixed as well?
A. No, the options differ depending on the set.

The Old Four Lords equipment, added in the last update, serves as the primary reward for the Expedition. As this is the first season, the official lounge has been flooded with questions. Many players were specifically asking about the gear options, likely trying to verify if the loot was worth the grind before pouring resources into upgrades.

The biggest perk of this gear is that valid options are fixed according to the set. Sets focused on attack will always roll attack-related bonuses like Critical Hit, while defensive gear stays locked to defensive traits. The confusion, however, stems from the main options. Players were baffled when they saw different main stats on the same piece of gear.

Unlike sub-stats, the main option isn't fixed; instead, it draws from a pool of valid possibilities at random. For example, the Assassin set for 'Teo's Black Blade' seen above will roll one of Critical Damage, Critical Rate, or Weak Point Attack. While it depends on your specific hero and current build, most outcomes are viable. If you get a decent roll, feel free to reinforce it and take it straight into battle.

'Kyle vs Teo' Fan Art Event

To mark Kyle's arrival, a special event is underway. We are hosting a fan art contest centered on the legendary showdown: 'Kyle vs Teo.' Submissions are open from October 16 to November 13 via the 'Kyle vs Teo Fan Art Event' board on the official lounge. After the submission period ends, an internal review will select the top 20 entries, which will then be put to a public vote by all adventurers. Prizes will be awarded based on the final tally.

The winner of the 'BEST OF BEST' prize takes home 30,000 Rubies, while the two runners-up in the 'BEST' category grab 15,000 Rubies each. All 20 finalists will receive generous rewards. They are looking for adventurers who prioritize fun over intensity and enjoy deep-diving into game mechanics.

Flow’s stated goal is to break into the top 50 in Guild War. However, they emphasize that even this goal shouldn't come at the cost of having a good time. Their recruitment message, 'Looking for Rankers who are exhausted by competitive play,' speaks volumes. The fact that they don't have stringent entry requirements, other than a 'Legend' grade in Total War, shows where their priorities lie.

The Night Hunter 'Kyle'

Renowned as the world’s greatest assassin, Kyle hunted Teo across the globe after becoming one of the Four Lords. The two clashed in a battle that lasted three days and nights without rest, leaving both gravely wounded with no clear victor. We recently caught a glimpse of this clash in a cinematic, and it was a stark reminder of the sheer scale of power these two wield.

The scenario event 'Root of the Storm That Destroyed the Heavens' opens with a monologue from Kyle. He is seen nursing a drink while lost in thought about someone from his past. Given how elusive he is, it is hard to pinpoint exactly who he is referring to. While Teo is the obvious choice, it could very well be Aquila, who arrived alongside him. With other figures like Sylvesta, Dellons, Pascal, the Shadow Order, and the Old Four Lords in the mix, it is safe to say that the story of Seven Knights Re:BIRTH is about to take a sharp, exhilarating turn.
