I did spot them switching to Berserker back in July, so it seems they might have made a cheeky return to the Assassin class.

Tower of Chaos Top 5 Rankings by Class

Now, let’s dive into the Top 5 charts per class. During Season 7, Raven 2 introduced the new Rungard region, along with heroic gear and fresh progression elements. It’s been a prime environment for high-spec users to grow, which explains why the rankers' stats are generally trending upward. You might find the Elementalist's performance surprising, but after the last round of balance adjustments, the player base actually thinned out quite a bit, yet they seem to have recovered nicely.

The most impressive climb, however, comes from the Destroyer. The Top 5 rankers have shaved significant time off their records, and it’s clear the recent balance tweaks have done wonders for their reputation. It wasn't long ago that finding a ranker capable of clearing floor 35 was a rarity. By the end of Season 7, they were putting up numbers right behind the Assassins and Night Rangers. While the Divine Caster and Deathbringer haven't broken the 10-second barrier yet, they’re safe for now. Given they are healers—or at least support-capable—they’re naturally at a disadvantage in solo PvE content like the Tower of Chaos, so simply shaving off time is an achievement in itself.

Our final corner reveals a bit of a shocker: the Berserker has overtaken the competition to snag the number two spot in pick rates. It’s the first time I’ve seen the Berserker rank this high in any of the KookminTree metrics for Raven 2. Overtaking the Assassin, a traditional titan of the Tower of Chaos, is no small feat. They haven't quite managed to catch the Night Ranger or the Divine Caster, but that’s a different story—one doesn't simply fight the elements.

The specific breakdown for the Berserker stands at 480 players out of 3,721. They’re trailing the Assassin by a mere 22 players. While a slight dip in Assassin rankers helped, the growth of the Berserker slice of the pie is undeniable. What a thrilling turnaround!

In the mid-to-lower tiers, the Destroyer has joined the party with a 0.7% jump in share, hitting 9.6%. If the season had dragged on just a little longer, they might have hit that 10% milestone. As we noted earlier, the record-breaking performance of their top players shows they’re delivering on both quality and quantity. I’m certainly looking forward to seeing if the Berserker and Destroyer can keep this momentum going in the new season of Raven 2's Tower of Chaos.
