The demo for the zombie checkpoint simulator 'Quarantine Zone: The Last Check' (hereinafter Quarantine Zone) is currently maintaining a 'Very Positive' rating on Steam.

Quarantine Zone is a zombie inspection game that was first announced in February, with its initial demo released on May 22. Following an update during October's Steam Next Fest, it was selected as one of the 50 most-played demos. The game currently maintains a 'Very Positive' (89% positive) rating from Steam users.

The game is set in a city collapsing due to a zombie outbreak, and the player's goal is to command a checkpoint. You must carefully inspect individuals attempting to enter the city and ensure there is no possibility of them turning into zombies.

Players have access to various advanced scientific equipment. Beyond simple tools like flashlights, heart-rate monitors, and thermometers, you can utilize special gear such as see-through scanners and X-rays to check inside the body. Using these tools, you must determine whether to grant entry based on factors like body temperature, bite marks, or foreign objects inside the body.

The city operates with limited resources and supplies. The more people you let in, the faster resources are depleted. If an infected survivor turns inside the city, you can capture and study them to acquire new equipment, experience points, and upgrades. Of course, this poses a significant threat to the people inside the city.

Occasionally, alarms will sound as hordes of zombies rush the city walls. During these moments, you must control armed drones to quickly eliminate the zombies. As you progress, you will unlock new resources, tools, and weapon upgrades. You must use these to eliminate zombies faster, inspect survivors, and survive for as long as possible.

Quarantine Zone is scheduled for an official release on Steam this November, and Korean language support will be included.
