Vampir is set to roll out its very first server group shuffling, and it’s a bit of a shake-up. Previously, we were looking at three servers bundled within a single world, but now, the game is connecting three servers across entirely different worlds. Gehenna, the Skirmish, and the Exchange will all operate within these new matching groups. Keep in mind that this first shuffle lands right after the October 29 update.

The 'Vampir Skirmish View' is, as the name implies, a deep dive into the nitty-gritty of the skirmishes. For this inaugural edition, I’ve analysed which clans are likely to shine post-shuffle, just so you know exactly who you’re up against. Expect this coverage to remain as fluid as the Vampir updates themselves; I’ll be adjusting the focus as the meta evolves.

Predicting the General Group Matchups

All eyes on Groups A through E and the veteran champions

When it comes to the Skirmish, it is all about your clan’s total combat power. Since shifting the power balance isn't exactly a walk in the park, we can glean quite a bit from past brackets and results. I’ve used that data to highlight the clans that are likely to make waves in the upcoming skirmish.

Shall we take a look at the groups for the general servers? Out of groups A through E, it is Groups A and D that really catch the eye. Group A is likely to see the entry of season one champions Kain 1 'Infinite Island' and Poame 3 'Abigail'. I’d bet on Abigail coming out swinging—they tore through the preliminary rounds with 638 kills and the qualifiers with 1,114. They even racked up 354 kills in the finals. Truly, a terrifying stat line.

Not that Infinite Island is lagging behind by any means. They logged 1,161 kills in the qualifiers and 465 in the finals. However, Infinite Island practically breezed through the preliminary round with just 1 kill. It leaves the impression that Abigail has been through much bloodier battles to get where they are.

In Group D, we are likely looking at a showdown between Goryeo and Cham-Education against the Kiazia 1 'Lines of Lines' contingent. The reasoning is the Vampir Meca Ranking clan chart. I track the top-ranked clans across all servers every week, and 'Lines of Lines' has been firmly holding onto the number one spot for cumulative experience. As of the morning of October 27, they’ve hit 22.11 million. Goryeo is also a regular on the Meca Ranking chart, having accumulated an unparalleled amount of experience on their home server. It should be a fascinating clash to see Goryeo challenge Lines of Lines.

On the flip side, Groups C and E are looking like they’ll be gathering clans that have yet to taste victory. Group C seems to have a higher overall spec, though. All three clans reached the qualifiers, and Kain 3’s 'BitCoin' even made it to the finals. Here’s hoping they put on a stellar show as they hunt for redemption and that elusive winner’s trophy.

Group E is a bit of a wildcard. Looking at the bracket, Olga 1 'The Best' only managed 2 kills in the prelims and 0 in the qualifiers, so it is hard to gauge their heat. Dollingen 2’s candidate, 'Anarchy', doesn't seem to be an overwhelming powerhouse on their server, either. Checking the data, the server's top 3 combat power spots are held by other clans, with various top-tier rankers mixed in. Conversely, Lilith 2’s 'Gangbuk' has left their server's second-place clan in the dust in terms of cumulative experience and has successfully dominated the upper echelons of the combat power rankings. They are the clear front-runner here.

Groups F through J: It’s all about the post-shuffle dynamics

The second chart tells a slightly different story. Looking at the regular season results, there were matches that ended with very few or even zero kills. These clans are likely to be heavily impacted by the shuffle, as they won't be able to lean on their usual server-group allies for support. Perhaps that’s exactly what the developers had in mind with this shuffle.

Of course, there are still some fierce battles on the horizon. In Group F, Razvi 3 'Package Hero' is expected to lead the charge, given their history as past skirmish winners. It’s highly likely they’ll be joined by Poame 2 'Cheonjok' and Kain 2 'Borderline Target'. These are top-tier ranker clans from their servers with strong track records, so expect them to keep Package Hero on their toes.

Group H features candidates with very distinct traits. Olga 3 'Fair Trade Commission' posted high scores in both the qualifiers and finals of their last match. They are strong contenders and will likely be the primary target for everyone else. Group I is set to be a meeting between former champions Shima 2 'Rich Forest' and Nel 1 'Strange People'. Rich Forest looks to be the clear favorite; they’ve been grinding kills throughout the regular season, and their rankers have basically taken over the server’s general and season rankings. Strange People, on the other hand, won their last skirmish with 0 kills. It feels like Rich Forest is already trying to assert dominance.

Also, the 'HOT Ranker' section of the chart highlights some unique individuals. Notice how there are two nicknames listed for Groups I and J? Those servers are hotbeds for season ranking competition beyond just raw specs. For example, Nel 1’s 'GoldTech' and 'Pierre' from Strange People are tearing up the charts.

Group J is where these season rankers really shine. In Razvi 2, it isn't the server's #1 clan 'Execution' leading the way, but rather rankers from #2 'Action' and #3 'PP' dominating the scene. Contrary to my predictions, those clans might just show up for the skirmish. I’d be more than happy to be proven wrong. Meanwhile, in Milla 1, 'KiaTigers' is holding the top spot in four different categories, and 'Bokrye' has surged ahead in the enhancement category by a factor of 2.5.

Granted, season rankings aren't the end-all-be-all of a clan’s strength. But they do help gauge who is actively engaging in summons, subjugations, black market trades, and enhancements. Why not use this data to scout the activity levels of rival clans?

Predicting the Streamer Group Matchups

A clear divide in the atmosphere for Groups A and C

Vampir has grouped Oscar, Moarte, and Damir separately as the 'Streamer Server' group. Since these are servers where streamers operate, the matching rules were tweaked—or, as they put it in a recent live stream, adjusted to make for more entertaining matches. Predicting the participating guilds for the skirmish revealed a clear distinction between the three groups.

Winning experience seems to be the main driver here. Group A features veterans 'Myth' and 'Sparta A'. I’ve mentioned Sparta A a few times here on the Vampir KookminTree; they, along with several other 'Sparta' clans, have completely dominated the upper ranks of the Moarte 2 clan rankings. Their cumulative experience is a staggering 21.3 million, landing them at 3rd place in last week’s Vampir Meca Rankings.

Damir 1’s Myth recorded 1,512 kills in the preliminaries and 247 in the finals of the last skirmish. The combat power of their members is clearly nothing to sneeze at. I’m expecting a head-to-head showdown between them and Sparta A in the finals.

In Group B, the spotlight is on 'Grim Reaper', the only clan with a previous win, who are tipped to take it again. It looks like 'Blood Pact' and 'Seasoned Chicken' will be the ones trying to challenge them. Fun fact: Seasoned Chicken only had 36 members enter the regular season skirmish, but I’ve confirmed they are now up to 50 members. Hopefully, the increased manpower yields better results.

Group C is going to be incredibly tense. Oscar 1, Moarte 1, and Damir 3 have never produced a skirmish winner. Once the match begins, one of them will finally wear the crown. With the overwhelming heavyweights off in other groups, this is the perfect chance to seize the day!
