On the 30th, 'The King of Fighters AFK' (hereinafter KOF AFK) added the new Legend-grade fighter 'Kula Diamond' to its roster. Along with this arrival, the game has rolled out a suite of updates, including expansions to the main stage and challenge content tiers, alongside a fresh round of events.

The new Legend-grade fighter, Kula Diamond, is a Moon-attribute Erosion synergy fighter who specializes in freezing foes and stripping away their defenses. Her active skill, 'Falling Snowman EX', deals damage to the target and two adjacent enemies. More importantly, it carries a 75% chance to inflict a debuff that reduces enemy defense by 40% for two turns—a solid choice for boosting your team's total damage output.

Her finish skill, 'Freeze Execution', is an area-of-effect attack that strikes all targets. Landing a hit grants a 35% chance to apply a 'freeze' debuff, locking the enemy's actions for one turn. While frozen, enemies are effectively sidelined until the effect wears off or they take damage, upon which they receive 50% increased damage and the freeze effect is promptly removed.

Kula’s passive skill, 'Ice Doll', leaves an 'Ice Shard' debuff on enemies with every successful attack. If an ally attacks an enemy marked with this debuff, they deal an additional 20% of their skill damage as bonus damage. Furthermore, the Ice Shard debuff acts as 'Frostbite', dealing 75% of the caster's finish skill damage every turn.

To celebrate Kula's debut, a new pick-up summon event has kicked off, featuring her alongside other Erosion synergy fighters. Make sure to get involved—you can trade 'Green Shards' earned from event missions for tokens to use on the pick-up summons.

The grind continues with expanded main stages and challenge content. The main stages now go up to 21,600, offering fresh challenges and rewards. The Club Boss Challenge has seen its daily cumulative reward tiers further segmented, while the World Boss Challenge server-wide reward stages have been pushed from 21 to 30. Additionally, the High Score Challenge maximum tier has been bumped from 4 to 6.
