Starting the 30th, the Once Human x Palworld crossover event kicks off, bringing some of those beloved Pals into the gritty survival landscape of Once Human, alongside a new collaborative map, the 'Abnormal Containment' scenario, and a suite of fresh mechanics.

First up, fan-favourites like Cattiva, Lamball, and Pengullet—plus a few surprise guests—are making their way into Once Human. The best part? You can nab all these Pals for free. Once you’ve added them to your team, they’re yours to keep for good, and you can deploy them across any scenario, map, or mode. NetEase is also rolling out a range of limited-edition cosmetics, including territory terminal skins, outfits, and accessories.

We’re also getting a limited-time island map that mashes up the two worlds, creating a bizarre ecosystem where Meta-Humans, Pals, and Deviants coexist. You can explore this new locale to uncover its secrets, and if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, use special items to transform into a Pal yourself, viewing the world from a first-person perspective. Naturally, you can use certain Pals like Lamball or Pengullet as mounts. There’s even a weekly photo contest for those who fancy themselves an in-game photographer, with rewards up for grabs.

Alongside the crossover, Once Human is launching its new 'Abnormal Containment' scenario. Kicking off on the 30th, the 'Deviation: Survival, Capture, Preservation' scenario shifts the focus toward monster collecting, fusion, and combat. You'll need to craft specialized gear to bag these Deviants, which means plenty of trekking across the expansive world.

To make things even more interesting, they've introduced a fusion machine. This device lets you merge Deviants into entirely new forms—whether you’re aiming for something adorable or truly monstrous. This system isn't limited to just monsters; you can even fuse wildlife or furniture into the mix. It’s a creative sandbox that lets you experiment with some seriously odd designs.

If you want to show off your collection, the new scenario map features an arena where you can test your creatures against others. There’s a global ranking system in place, and the top-tier players will eventually be invited to an exclusive tournament to duke it out for the title of global champion.
