New Integrated Battlefield 'Blood Wind Zone' is Open!

The doors to the Blood Wind Zone are now open, offering a fresh take on competitive, seasonal progression. It features a unique 'Curse of the Black Spirit King' mechanic that scales down PvP damage, creating a more balanced playing field. With additional stat adjustments based on faction size, it is designed to be accessible for smaller factions, too—a thoughtful touch that has clearly raised expectations among our players.

The zone is split into three distinct areas: 'Blood Wind Plains' for peaceful questing, 'Blood Wind Hills' for server-based faction warfare, and 'Blood Wind Plateau' for cross-server reward competition. By working with your faction, you can complete exclusive missions and trigger boss spawns by defeating enemies and field bosses. Successful hunts yield some rather lucrative rewards, including fragments for Mythic weapon and accessory patterns.

While the gameplay loop is proving to be a hit, the server stability has been a bit of a bumpy ride. It is early days, and the team is currently hot-fixing issues in real-time. Once the dust settles, this looks set to become the next staple of Blade & Soul Revolution alongside the Devil Slaying battle.

They posed a question about the Hongmoon Pass missions—a topic that usually feels like second nature to veterans. It seems they were struggling to locate the mission list, a common hurdle for those still getting to grips with the Blade & Soul Revolution UI.

It is a classic case of 'hiding in plain sight.' The Hongmoon Pass menu is tucked away under the dragon-shaped icon just below your character's Hongmoon level in the top-left corner. It is not exactly labelled, so I can see why it is easy to miss. A fellow player, 'Pansa', kept it simple and provided a screenshot to clear things up. Did anyone see the Gunner's resurgence coming? According to our Meca Ranking, the Gunner has surged to 2nd place among high-rankers with a 16.6% share. It feels surreal to see them standing tall between the Warlock and Archer classes. Their recent popularity stems from a heavy focus on PvE content. Having conquered ranking dungeons and now topping the PvP charts, the Gunner is officially back in fashion.

This week's puzzle is a Gunner special, featuring their signature dual pistols. At a glance, they look symmetrical, but the central emblem adds a cheeky bit of asymmetry. I have even twisted the pistol design slightly to ensure no two parts are perfectly mirrored. It is a bit trickier than usual, so mind the details.

Can the 'Warlock' make a comeback?

Talking about the Gunner made me think of the classes that have been left behind. So, for our wallpapers, I have chosen the Warlock. They are essentially the Gunner's predecessor, arriving in the 'Warlock - Warden - Gunner' release sequence during the era when ranged classes were all the rage.

Sadly, the Warlock's current Meca Ranking sits around the 1-2% mark. They used to be the go-to class for early growth on new servers, once boasting a 10% share, but they have been overshadowed by stronger options lately. But hey, if the Gunner can have a second act, why not the Warlock? I have put together some spirited wallpapers to show our support.
