'Blade & Soul Revolution' (hereinafter B&S Revolution) is back with our Dungeon Race, where we track the latest ranking dungeon records. The October dungeon season has officially wrapped up, with rewards being calculated as we speak. We’ve crunched the numbers from the final hour of the competition. The top spot goes to the 'Daegi-manseung' server’s 'GaOi·Yomanghan-ttalgi' team, who held the lead for three consecutive weeks. Interestingly, they even managed to shatter their own record of 18.490 seconds, which they set when they first climbed to the summit.

The Gunslinger team from Daegi-manseung, which held the lead since the middle of the October race, finished at the very top. They spent the early days experimenting with a Gunslinger-Soul Fighter combo to shave off time, but ultimately secured their triumph with a Gunslinger duo. We previously assumed that their 18.490-second record was a peak set just before the balance patch hit.

After the Gunslinger's skill damage was nerfed, it seemed like that 18.490-second mark would remain the eternal summit of this dungeon race. Most teams were pivoting to Soul Fighters to chase down faster times, and we honestly expected our champions to jump ship too.

However, they decided to let their hands—or rather, their guns—do the talking. They managed to slice off another 0.335 seconds to finish the race at a new high of 18.155. A stellar achievement, and all without switching classes. The pursuit from the runner-up was fierce, though; the 'Nevada·Kimchijjigae' Soul Fighter team clocked in at 18.701, improving their own time by a whopping 1.071 seconds. It wasn't quite enough to beat the winners' original record, leaving them in second place. While the result is a bit of a shame for them, the sheer speed they showed is promising. We can’t wait to see what the November race brings.

Mixed fortunes for 'Sword Master' and 'Twin Blade' as they enter and exit the charts.

The Gunslinger, despite taking a direct hit from the skill adjustments, has bounced back like it was nothing. This week, they gained another 1% point, widening the gap with the second-place Soul Weaver to 4.3% points. Following them are the Soul Fighter, Qi Master, Archer, and Destroyer, maintaining their previous standings. That said, most of them are showing a downward trend, as if suppressed by the Gunslinger’s dominance.

The latest addition to the top tier is the Sword Master. Having hovered between 2% and 3% for the entire month of October, they spent their time fluctuating between 9th and 13th place. They finally clawed their way back into the TOP 10 class ratio chart, barely hanging on at 10th. With the Sword Master in, someone had to leave; the Twin Blade, which was 7th last week, saw a 1.1% point drop and fell out of the rankings. A classic case of differing fortunes for our two blade-wielders.

The 'Soul Fighter' holds the lowest combined TOP 3 record time.

This week, 483 rankers met the criteria for the dungeon race chart. While that’s 30 more than last week, some classes still failed to make a splash in the class-specific TOP 3 charts. The Kung Fu Master didn't even get a spark, while the Warrior managed 2 entries and the Gold Warrior just 1. It seems this trend will continue until those new classes mentioned in the dev notes finally drop.

The class with the fastest combined TOP 3 record is the Soul Fighter. We expected the Gunslinger, which set the overall peak, to be faster, but the 3rd place record of 21.443 from 'Chobissang' dragged them down significantly. The combined totals for the top three are 56.466 seconds for Soul Fighter and 57.753 seconds for the Gunslinger.

On the other end of the spectrum? Excluding the classes that couldn't even fill their spots, the Assassin was the slowest, with a combined time of 3 minutes and 48.638 seconds, fighting neck-and-neck with the Bard.
