In this edition of our Raven 2 guide, we’re diving into the nitty-gritty of guild management and the art of Transmutation. Guilds are the beating heart of Raven 2, and the game loves to shower players with missions that demand collective effort. While these mission structures are usually predictable, knowing the best way to handle them is a skill that pays dividends. Transmutation, on the other hand, is less about guild chores and more about that sweet, high-rarity loot. To keep your progress steady, you’ll need to master farming and schedule management. There’s also a cheeky little trick to snagging low-rarity gear for profit—let’s dig into it.

Q. Is there any way for a small guild to breeze through these missions?
A. You only need two guild members; even a couple of novices will do the trick.

As of the early hours of November 5th, the 'Raid Commemoration Special Mission' in Raven 2 will draw to a close. These events are a recurring feature, and frankly, the task list is always a bit of a carbon copy. You’ll see the usual suspects: guild check-ins, donations, and clearing guild dungeons. The real headache for smaller or more casual guilds is the 'Complete Weekly Guild Achievement' task. Thankfully, there’s a workaround, so pay attention.

We actually ran a quick experiment to find the path of least resistance for these weekly achievements. The easiest target is 'Rift Cleanup I,' which requires taking down 50 Rift Bosses in a week. Our findings? You only need three people, including two absolute beginners, to pull it off. Even if those two novices only have characters strong enough to participate in the Belusia Rift boss, it works. If one veteran player handles 6 runs daily, and the other two chip in for the lunch and dinner boss spawns, you’ll clear it in five days.

If all three of you can go full-time on those boss spawns, you’ll have it wrapped up in just three days. If you’re in a small or casual guild, or if your schedules are looking like a dog's breakfast, this is your strategy. Don’t be afraid to send an SOS to a mate: 'Hey, fancy playing Raven 2 with me for a week?'

Participating in a 'Guild Dungeon' is another staple mission. Here’s the kicker: you only need to see the results screen, so there’s no need to actually clear it to get the credit. Just make sure your team is synced up. For what it’s worth, I tested this in the previous season with a Berserker possessing a Combat Power of 850-900, and I managed to solo Stage 1. It’s obviously easier with a group, so try to align those schedules to aim for those juicier, higher-tier rewards.

Q. I want to profit from Transmutation, too.
A. Targeting low-rarity equipment can be a surprisingly smart play.

Transmutation has been a fixture in Raven 2 for quite some time now. It’s essentially a gambling mechanic where you sacrifice Rare or higher gear and Re-creation Orbs to try and roll for something better. Even the top-tier whales use it to chase Legendary items, and recent events have even thrown in items to boost your odds. If you’re grinding the Tower of Chaos, you’ll have a steady supply of materials. While snagging that top-tier gear is notoriously difficult, the savvy move is to pivot and target those elusive low-rarity items instead.

The goal here is gear that’s a nightmare to craft or farm reliably—the stuff ranging from Normal to Rare. Even if they’re low-tier, registering them in your Item Collection is a solid foundation for growth. Raven 2 often tucks these items into the drop tables of high-level hunting grounds where casual players simply can't survive. Transmutation is your way of bypassing that grind in the Abyss, Floor 2.

For fodder, I recommend using Rare Re-creation Orbs from the Chaos Coin shop or Rare gear you’ve picked up in the field. Toss in the minimum of three items, run the preview, and if you see what you want, check the odds before committing. Since lower-rarity gear has a higher spawn rate, you’re using the system’s logic against it. If you get unlucky and pull a Rare item? Just toss it back into the collection or use it as fodder for your next attempt.

Q. So, I should be hoarding Rare gear and Re-creation Orbs then?
A. Farming gear is fine, but be careful with how you spend your currency.

You might be tempted to drain your Chaos Coins on Rare Re-creation Orbs, but take my advice: that’s not the best use of your resources. Prioritize other items first. You’ve got 'Beast Heart Stone Fragments,' 'Hero Heavystone Abrasives,' and 'Hero Re-creation Orbs' to worry about—these are essential for crafting and reinforcing top-tier gear.

Take the Beast Heart Stone Fragments; the game is balanced for you to farm these over at least two seasons. Crafting a top-tier Hero Helmet, for example, demands 20 of them. Raven 2 keeps adding more Hero-grade gear, so you want to be hoarding these fragments constantly. I’ve been farming them myself, and it’s saved me a fortune in crafting costs. Buy your Rare Re-creation Orbs only after you’ve secured the essential stuff with your leftover coins.

Also, consider selling your Rare gear on the Exchange instead of Transmuting it. Raven 2 has been out for over a year, and on some servers, the market for Normal and Advanced gear is dead. However, Rare gear still holds value for collections, Transmutation, and gathering Elite Task Force Emblems. It’s still a liquid asset. Check the item’s current demand and utility on the Exchange before you decide its fate.
