Historically, the introduction of a new class triggers a flurry of class change tickets and significant shifts in market share, much like we saw with the Assassin and Deathbringer. Furthermore, the developers have hinted in their commentary at a 'Gold-based class change event,' which is bound to stir the pot further.

The headline this week is the relentless dominance of the Night Ranger. Despite being the most popular class in the Korean region of Raven 2, it had been losing some of its lustre recently. Meca Ranking for the 5th week of October saw the class lose its top spot on several servers, with Divine Caster closing the gap rapidly. However, the post-transfer shake-up saw the Night Ranger surge ahead once more, reclaiming its position as the undisputed favourite across servers.

Conversely, as the Night Ranger monopolises the top spot, the battle for second and third place has become fiercer. We are seeing a refreshing influx of new classes filling the ranks, finally breaking the stagnation that has plagued the charts for some time.

Overall Class Analysis

The Night Ranger's dominance is even more pronounced in the overall chart. Last week, the gap with the second-place Divine Caster had narrowed to a mere 2.8 percentage points, and many of us were bracing for a historic shift in the hierarchy. Alas, the gap widened by 4.4 percentage points, dashing those hopes. With the Divine Caster's share taking a significant tumble, a change at the top now feels like a distant dream.

Meanwhile, the landscape below third place has seen quite the shuffle. The Assassin and Deathbringer have traded places, while the Destroyer has climbed to sixth, capitalising on the declining popularity of the Deathbringer and Vanguard. The Berserker has held its ground, actually gaining 0.7 percentage points to reach a 7% share—not a bad result at all.

Global Class Analysis

While the Night Ranger runs the show elsewhere, the global region remains a curious exception. The Divine Caster reigns supreme here, and the lead has been insurmountable for quite some time. This week, the Night Ranger's share dipped by another 1.4 percentage points, while the Divine Caster extended its lead with a 1.0 percentage point gain. A comeback is effectively off the table. It will be interesting to see if the incoming Gunslinger can finally crack this stubborn status quo.

Guild Dungeon Ranking Records

A season of the Raven 2 Guild Dungeon has just concluded, and with the start of a new one, everyone is back to square one. Perhaps that explains the drop in participating guilds from 380 to 164. Completions of the 4th and 5th stages have also seen a noticeable decline. Yet, the top-ranked guild, 'RoyalDanekkeo', remains unfazed, shaving their 5th-stage time from 9 minutes and 8 seconds down to 8 minutes and 26 seconds. Meanwhile, the 'AnimalCrossing' guild improved their 5th-stage time from 13 minutes and 1 second to 12 minutes, securing third place.

The top response, 'I want to compete over trivial matters on a world scale,' highlights the current sentiment; with the recent arrival of faction wars, the appetite for entirely new content seems modest.
