Lux’s 'RoyalDanaekkeo' recently sounded the trumpet of victory in the Ancient Citadel, clocking in a clean '10 / 0 / 0 / 0' record. It is only the second guild to break the 10-win barrier since the Ancient Citadel content dropped.

The previous record-holder, BucksCoin, sits at a '12 / 0 / 0 / 1' tally, but they aren't exactly active these days. Think of them as a retired legend whose name is etched into the top of the Hall of Honour. Consequently, RoyalDanaekkeo is the real powerhouse of the Ancient Citadel right now. At this pace, I expect them to take the throne for the most Ancient Citadel wins before the end of 2025.

Keep a close eye on Kerum’s 'Kings', too. They’ve been racking up points in the primal battlefield, reaching a '9 / 0 / 2 / 0' record. In terms of total points, they are actually one ahead of RoyalDanaekkeo. If they catch up on primal battlefield wins, we could see a massive power shift. This is precisely why those lower-tier battlefield victories shouldn't be underestimated. The race for the Ancient Citadel crown is shaping up to be a RoyalDanaekkeo vs. Kings showdown, and I, for one, am here for the drama.

Ancient Citadel Victory Ranking

Looking at the updated Ancient Citadel rankings, we see shifts for RoyalDanaekkeo, Kings, and MythRed. RoyalDanaekkeo is holding onto 2nd place, methodically closing the gap to reclaim the throne. They are just 3 wins away now.

Kings climbed one spot after hitting 9 wins in the primal battlefield. Since the 4th and 5th placed guilds, Danaekkeo and Noppakku, are currently inactive, there’s little risk of them being overtaken. They’ve secured a comfortable safety margin.

6th placed MythRed snagged a victory in the Elemental Battlefield. It’s a pity it was a lower-tier battlefield, so they couldn't quite reach a joint 5th place, but points are points. It’s not like you can skyrocket to the top overnight, so these small, steady gains are the bedrock for their future climb.

Ancient Citadel Content Analysis

Raven 2 dropped a massive update on November 19, introducing the new 'Gunslinger' class and a class change ticket available for gold. This change season runs until 4:59 AM on December 3. Looking back at our Meca Ranking history, these gold-based seasons usually trigger a frenzy of job-hopping among top players. Given that the Gunslinger is explicitly built for PVP, I suspect the class distribution among the elite is about to get a major shake-up.

Furthermore, the rules for the Ancient Citadel have been tweaked. The key change lies in the character eligibility: only the character with the highest experience on your account is allowed to enter. The total combat power of the guild is then calculated based on the sum of these top-tier characters. From there, the top 24 guilds that win the bid are ranked based on that aggregate combat power.

Secondly, Raven 2 has introduced a headcount verification process for each battlefield. To put it simply, you need a specific number of guild members to enter a battlefield. Let’s say Guild A has the highest combined combat power among bidders, but only 26 members. Since the primal battlefield requires at least 30, they’ll be bumped down to the elemental battlefield, which requires 25. Your guild's total combat power and headcount are now vital metrics. PVP Ranking Status

Finally, let’s talk about the Raven 2 PVP rankings. While the KDA scores of top players have been trending downwards recently, we are seeing a bit of a recovery. The kill ceiling jumped from 14 to 51, and the number of players with over 10 kills has grown to six. The Mare Honor and Dolor servers are the ones to watch; they boast a high density of PVP rankers and impressive stats. This week’s 1st place, 'BladeT', and 2nd place, 'PowerfulViper', are both from the Honor server.

Based on the data at the time of calculation, the 'None', 'TofuFactory', and 'Pendragon' guilds seemed locked in a fierce battle. However, top-tier players 'BladeT' and 'SexyCharmNone' were notably guildless. A follow-up investigation on November 19 revealed that 'SexyCharmNone' has since joined the 'None' guild. It seems they were just taking a short break or reorganising.
