Mobile – Maple Rush charging toward the top

Welcome to our third big data ranking report for November 2025. 'Maple Rush,' which made its mobile chart debut last week at 7th, is showing some serious momentum. A massive surge in search volume saw it climb three spots this week to land at 4th place, effectively challenging the iron-clad top 3 of 'Roblox – Architect – Mabinogi Mobile'.

This meteoric rise seems to be the perfect storm of strong IP recognition combined with the addictive nature of idle games. The simple, low-pressure progression loop wrapped in the 'MapleStory' universe has clearly hooked both die-hard fans of the series and those who enjoy the AFK genre.

Beyond search interest, its commercial performance is equally impressive. It topped both Google and Apple sales charts within just a week of launch. A solid start indeed, but we’ll have to see if it has the legs to shake up that solidified top 3 hierarchy.

'Chaos Zero Nightmare' and 'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH' have hit a bit of a rough patch. However, Seven Knights Re:BIRTH has started various events to celebrate its 0.5-year anniversary, which might be the catalyst for a comeback. We'll be watching next week's numbers closely to see if sentiment shifts.

Outside the top 10, 'Cheonsangbi K' and 'Cheonjigeob' enjoyed a nice boost, climbing 7 and 5 spots respectively. It is intriguing to see two similarly themed oriental-style titles gaining traction at once. While not as dramatic, 'Honkai: Star Rail' (26th, +4) and 'Trickcal Revive' (36th, +3) are also putting up a fight. With so much activity in the mid-to-lower ranks, we might be in for a significant shake-up in the mobile charts throughout November and December.

Online – A stagnant chart

'Lost Ark,' which surged last week, has managed to hold onto 4th place. It increased its search volume over the week, widening the gap between it and the titles below. That said, the gap between it and 3rd place 'MapleStory' remains substantial, making a break into the top 3 look like a tall order. For now, playing defense and securing that 4th spot seems the pragmatic play.

There was little to report for the top 10 this week. The rankings—and indeed the underlying metrics—remained largely static. Even the usual brawl for the 5th to 9th spots felt like it was in 'rest mode' this time around.

However, 'League of Legends' is a different story. Search volume dipped following the conclusion of the 2025 LoL World Championship (Worlds). While the 'Stove League' transfer window is generating interest, it just doesn't carry the same weight as the tournament itself. Still, it sits comfortably above 'FC Online', so its throne remains unchallenged.

Looking at the top 10 and beyond, the online chart feels rather stiff. If not for the minor shuffling of 'Cyphers' and 'Path of Exile', we would be looking at a near-identical list to last week. Such a quiet period is rarely welcome; we could certainly use some fresh drama to stir the pot.

Steam – Extraction shooters strike back!

Extraction shooters are having a moment on Steam. This week, 'ARC Raiders' and 'Escape from Duckcov' both climbed a spot to take 1st and 2nd. Joining them is the godfather of the genre, 'Escape from Tarkov' (hereafter Tarkov), which finally hit full release after an eight-year beta stint, landing straight at 6th. Seeing this sub-genre dominate is certainly eye-catching.

However, Tarkov’s launch has been a different beast compared to its peers. Persistent server issues have left players frustrated, to put it mildly. As of November 20, the overall user rating sits at 'Mixed', but the Korean-language reviews are 'Overwhelmingly Negative'. The hostility from the community is palpable, reflecting the severity of the technical failures and the depth of player disappointment.

The game director stated that traffic increased tenfold on the website and fourfold on the launcher/authentication services, and they are working on fixes. Yet, improvements remain elusive. For the game to have any long-term success, these technical hurdles need clearing, and fast.

Also worth mentioning is 'Where Winds Meet', which debuted at 9th. Published by NetEase Games, this martial arts open-world RPG launched on November 15 and reportedly surpassed 2 million cumulative players in 24 hours. Early reviews are 'Very Positive' both globally and in Korea. With strong performance on consoles as well, we expect its search momentum to keep trending upward for a while.

Pre-registration – Aion 2 stays on top until the very end

'Aion 2', which launched on November 19, topped the pre-registration charts one final time. Given its runaway lead throughout the campaign, this was a foregone conclusion. Expect to see it make a significant splash when it debuts on the mobile charts next week.

So, what happens to the pre-registration chart now that Aion 2 has left the building? Based on current search trends, we are looking at a three-way race between 'Crimson Desert – Dugeun Dugeun Town – Dragon Flight 2'. 'Star Savior' is also in the mix, though it effectively graduates from the pre-reg list having launched on the 20th. With several titles scheduled for release in November, the landscape is bound to keep shifting.
