Look, Blue Potion Games has decided to shake things up for their mobile MMORPG 'EOS RED'. On the 26th, they rolled out the 'New ARENA' update (Episode 9), which includes the launch of 'Igur', a fresh server with a cap on monetization.

It’s a peculiar move, really. Since its 2019 launch, this is the first time they’ve introduced a server with restricted spending. You’re capped at a maximum of 3 million won per month on packages, but in a cheeky trade-off, they’re tossing in 2 million won worth of freebies monthly. If you're a new player jumping in, the 21-day attendance event is handing out three pieces of +3 Legendary set gear and two Hero-grade pets.

The 'Episode 9: New ARENA' update also brings us the 'Citadel of Giants', the game’s new top-tier field. If you fancy a grind, slaying regular mobs here might net you 'Traces of Ancient Gods' or 'Mythic Skill Book Fragments'. Should you manage to take down the boss monster 'Nidhogg', you’ll be looking at rare loot like 'Ancient Black Pearls' and materials for crafting Mythic gear. Oh, and the Chronos Dungeon has been expanded to five floors, where you can scavenge for Hero-grade gear and high-tier rune material boxes in zones like the Clone Lab, Broken Kardilla, Altena Ruins, and Wotan's Domain.

That’s not all. A new NPC shop, the 'General Store', has popped up in major cities for your item-swapping needs. They’ve also injected ten new pets into the game, including the primeval 'Nata' and 'Taranos'. To mark the occasion, there’s an attendance event where you can snag 3,333 pet summon tickets over 21 days. Plus, the 'Winter Wish' event lets you trade 'Winter Wish Flowers'—earned by knocking out daily quests—for various goodies at the NPC shop.
