Welcome to the [Meca Ranking] for 'Blade & Soul Revolution'. The massive 7th-anniversary update has officially dropped, bringing the twenty-fourth class, the Bidosulsa, into the fold. This week's chart focuses on the calm before the storm—the atmosphere just before the new class hit the servers. Keep in mind, this data was collected right before the update maintenance. In four words: 'wait and see'. Aside from a slight uptick for Gunslingers and Archers, most classes have held their ground.

Compared to last week, we’ve seen a bit more movement in combat power. Average attack power rose by approximately 164,000, while defense climbed by about 67,000. It is a steady upward trend, though nothing too dramatic. The class with the highest average combat power remains the Warlock, comfortably smashing through the 3.99 million mark—a long-standing favorite, particularly among high-power rankers.

The Warlock also dominates the defense charts. Achieving a stat roughly 220,000 higher than the average, it proves to be a well-balanced powerhouse. It will be interesting to see how this changes once the new challenger, the Bidosulsa, settles in.

Boosting World 'Revolution' Server Level/Attack Power Rankings and Class Popularity

Following the Maehwageomjon and Hwasangwihwan Boosting Worlds, the new 7th-anniversary 'Revolution' server has opened its gates. As a Boosting World, it provides the standard '1+2 Level Up' benefit. With additional festivities like the Red Godstone payback event, rapid growth is more accessible than ever. Naturally, we’ve checked in on the early growth trends, compiling data on levels, attack power, and class choices for all the newcomers, including the Bidosulsa.

Looking at the level rankings, the '1+2 Level Up' perk has created a neat row of players at 3-level intervals in Hongmun. The top spot goes to 'Louis', who has already surpassed level 54. It is hard to believe it has only been three days since the server opened. There are several others past 54, and you need at least level 51 to crack the Top 10. Attack power is still under the 1 million mark for most, as players are prioritizing experience-boosting builds for now.

In terms of class distribution, the Bidosulsa takes the lead with an overwhelming 48.5% popularity. Following closely are ranged classes like the Gunslinger, Cannonier, and Force Master. It is a natural result, as ranged classes are currently the go-to choice for efficient level grinding.

Mythic Grade Guardian Spirit Special Option Statistics

The Mythic Guardian Spirit market, which had been stagnant, saw some movement this week. Jecheon Daeseong slipped by 8 percentage points, with Torimwang, Dueoksini, and Cheonbingho picking up the slack. Even with the drop, Jecheon Daeseong retains a 46% share, so the rankings remain stable. The gap to the 2nd place Torimwang is still a significant 20%.

This has led to a reshuffle in the 1st special options. The PvP favorite, 'Life', dropped by 7 percentage points, allowing 'Harsh' to snatch 2nd place. The 2nd special option 'Sun' also saw a 5 percentage point dip. Fortunately, the gap between 2nd and 3rd place in the 2nd special options is wide enough that the 'Galaxy - Sun' hierarchy remains intact.

Guardian Spirit Leader Combination Statistics

Much like the decline of 'Life/Sun' options, the Ancient grade Guardian Spirit 'Awakened Poharan' is on a downward trend. Mukwha Witch Jinsoyun and Yeokwang Hongseokgeun also saw declines. Combined, these three dropped by 13 percentage points, though it is unclear where that share shifted. Aside from a 1% point increase for Fleet Admiral Eun Gwang-il and a minor rise for Awakened Jinsoyun, there hasn't been a massive shift in the top tier.

The secret lies outside the main chart. Awakened Erna, Overlord Shinmuje, and Regent Jess all hit 5%, tying with Awakened Jinsoyun for 5th place. Space is limited, so we highlighted Awakened Jinsoyun as the representative. Excluding the lead held by Fleet Admiral Eun Gwang-il, a fierce battle for ranking is unfolding all across the chart.

This Week's Ranker Settings

The Proud Faction Leader, Bidosulsa 'Ulaegi'

This week, we look at the initial gear setups of rankers who have switched to Bidosulsa. Many top-tier players across the servers are testing the class. Among them, the setup of 'Ulaegi', the faction leader of the Wipungdangdang server, caught our eye. The gear is not final and is still being refined, making it a great reference for others.

Most of the gear maintains the traditional PvP-focused approach. The real variable here is the Martial Tome. Thanks to the newly released 'Mythic [Extreme]' Martial Tome and Transcendence, we can see the ongoing process of gear optimization. The core is the 'Advance/Heavenly Demon' and 'Repair/Jinhyeon' combination. It seems the player is testing the ceiling of martial arts damage, as 'End/Extreme Bidosulsa' is set in both the Martial Tome and gear refinement.

For reference, the official Blade & Soul Revolution community currently recommends 'Shadow Bidosulsa/Mancheonhwau/Sohwa Bidosulsa' for dungeon martial arts refinement. 'Ulaegi' is currently testing 'Amhonbi/Extreme Bidosulsa/End', so keep in mind that this is subject to change based on future experiments and other ranker trends.

Blade & Soul Revolution User Poll

Last week's poll asked about players' intentions to switch classes following the Bidosulsa launch. The options were 'Bidosulsa', 'Other Class', and 'No Change'. Interestingly, 'Not sure yet' took 1st place. It seems many players were hesitant due to a lack of detailed information at the time.

Despite the poll results, in-game, we see many players trying out the new class thanks to the free class change ticket. With an additional ticket provided as compensation for temporary maintenance the day after the update, players have had more opportunities to experiment. Reading about others' experiences is fine, but as they say, seeing is believing!
