Solin: Sweet Memory Guide

It has been a week since the release of Solin: Sweet Memory, and the community forums are still buzzing with guides, strategies, and testing. Some high-ranking players have even started putting her through her paces in the Champion Arena. Expect the theory-crafting to continue right up until the recruitment period ends on December 4th.

Solin: Sweet Memory brings both HP recovery and burst cooldown reduction to the table. She is currently the only shotgun-wielding Nikke with this specific utility—clearly a deliberate move to fill a void in shotgun squads. Fans are already predicting she’ll be a star in future Water-code weak solo raids. I, for one, am keen to give her a spin.

Questions about the surface content!

The surface BETA content, which wraps up on December 23rd, is a surprisingly complex affair. With building upgrades, reclamation, production, and operations all happening at once, it’s no wonder players have questions. Since it’s new territory for everyone, the community is trading information left and right.

A user known as 'Dreamt of a Younger Sibling 4132' asked about the processing facilities. Specifically, they wanted to know the benefits of upgrading the Goddessium, Geonic, Neo Titanium, and Core Powder plants. These facilities max out at level 5 and boost resource yield per second. Since these resources are exclusive to the surface mode, it's a solid choice to upgrade them.

They also asked about moving squads simultaneously. Unfortunately, there is no 'move all' function at the moment, so you’ll have to move them one by one. A quick tip: if your paths overlap, the Nikkes will trail behind each other rather than clipping through, so keep an eye on your routes.

Workaholic 'Brid'

Today’s spotlight is on Brid, the train engineer from the Infinity Rail squad who operates the AZX. She was a massive help to the Commander during the early stages of the main story. She spends her days keeping the Ark's transit system running without a single incident.

As a Water-code, Rifle-wielding, Burst 3 unit, Brid has been with us since day one. Compared to the power-crept units we see now, her kit is refreshingly simple.

Her Skill 1, 'Acceleration', boosts her own attack for 10 seconds after 30 normal attacks—and yes, it counts even if you miss. Skill 2, 'Leak', deals damage to the enemy with the highest final defense every 10 seconds. Note that if a Rapture buffs its defense mid-battle, your target might shift unexpectedly.

Her Burst skill, 'AZX', also targets the enemy with the highest defense, dealing bonus damage if her HP is full. At level 10, the 1,440% coefficient is decent, but with the current meta, there are simply more efficient Water-code options out there.

However, come December 11th, she’s getting a makeover as 'Brid: Silent Track'. Since it’s a limited-time skin, don't miss out unless you fancy waiting until next winter for a potential rerun. Her squadmate Diesel is also getting a variant. You can catch the lead-up to their story in the current 'BLANK TICKET' event, so get stuck in before it closes.

Diesel vs. Brid

Last time, we put Chime and Papillon in a balance-style poll, and you lot voted for Chime. It makes sense—her impact on the main and anniversary stories made her a fan favorite. Papillon had a great showing in the 3rd-anniversary event, but she’s got a long way to go to catch up to Chime’s prestige. Maybe in a few more chapters, the results will swing the other way.

The AZX is effectively the lifeline of the Ark. Thousands of citizens and Nikkes rely on it daily. While the Infinity Rail squad handles the technical side, there’s clearly an army of unseen staff keeping things moving.
