The Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA) is gearing up for the '2025 Esports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony' on Tuesday, December 16, and is inviting fans to participate in the 'Stars' voting until Sunday, December 7.

The 2025 Esports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony celebrates and honors players who have excelled in domestic and international esports tournaments throughout the year. Hosted by KeSPA and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the ceremony features three categories: 'Heroes' for active players who meet specific induction criteria, 'Honors' for retired legends, and 'Stars,' which is determined by fan voting. As of 2024, 284 individuals have been inducted into 'Heroes' and 16 into 'Honors.'

The selection process for the 2025 class begins with an audit of tournament records (from December 1, 2024, to November 30, 2025) by a verification team. Subsequently, a selection committee representing media, broadcasting, game publishers, and team offices selects the 'Heroes' and shortlists candidates for 'Honors' and 'Stars.' Final inductees are determined through a third round of voting by the committee and the voting panel, with the top six players in the fan vote being selected for the 'Stars' category.

The 'Stars' voting is open until midnight on Sunday, December 7. The committee has shortlisted 18 candidates based on their tournament achievements, and the final six will be chosen by esports fans. You can participate in the 'Stars' vote via the official link, with each ID allowed to vote for up to six players. The six players with the highest number of votes will be featured in the Esports Hall of Fame 'Stars' section for one year.

The 2025 'Stars' nominees include: FC Online's ▲'Wunder08' Ko Won-jae; League of Legends' ▲'Canyon' Kim Geon-bu, ▲'Kiin' Kim Gi-in, ▲'Keria' Ryu Min-seok, ▲'Oner' Mun Hyeon-jun, ▲'Viper' Park Do-hyeon, ▲'Ruler' Park Jae-hyeok, ▲'Gumayusi' Lee Min-hyeong, ▲'Faker' Lee Sang-hyeok, ▲'Chovy' Jeong Ji-hoon, ▲'Zeus' Choi Woo-je, ▲'Doran' Choi Hyeon-jun, and ▲'Peanut' Han Wang-ho; PUBG's ▲'Salute' Woo Je-hyeon; PUBG Mobile's ▲'Osall' Ko Han-bin and ▲'Nolbu' Song Su-an; and Tekken's ▲'Knee' Bae Jae-min and ▲'Ulsan' Lim Su-hoon.

The '2025 Esports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony' will take place on Tuesday, December 16, at the Esports Hall of Fame in Mapo, Seoul. The event will also feature 'Esports Night,' where awards for meritorious service (Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Commendation), Game of the Year, and Team of the Year will be presented to recognize the contributions of industry professionals.
