On the 11th, 'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH' (hereinafter SKRB) released a significant update, introducing the new legendary hero Freya, along with a suite of hero rebalances and content enhancements. To keep the momentum from their recent live broadcast going, they’ve also rolled out six '0.5th Anniversary' themed costumes that have fans buzzing.

First up, let’s talk about Freya, the latest legendary addition to the Celestial Guardians. She’s a magic-type hero who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty with bleed effects, health swapping, and a nifty buff to ally effect accuracy. Her active skill, 'Noble Golden Wind,' strips buffs from all enemies and shreds their defense based on how many buffs they had. It’s a rather unique mechanic we haven't seen in SKRB before.

The real bite in Freya’s kit comes from 'Golden Sword Dance,' an active skill that delivers defense-ignoring damage while simultaneously swapping health. Her passive, 'Beautiful Ruler,' keeps her in the fight by granting damage immunity, blessing, and shields. It’s a solid choice for players looking for a damage dealer who simply refuses to die. Plus, if you stack at least three magic-type heroes, you’ll grant the whole team a 37% bump in effect accuracy, making her the perfect centerpiece for a status-effect-heavy party.

Meanwhile, veterans Ace and Spike have received some much-needed attention. Ace’s 'Moonlight Slash' now reduces turn-based buffs for three targets for two turns instead of just one, and he now applies a healing reduction debuff as well. More importantly, that healing reduction—which previously required an active skill—is now baked into his passive, making it an ever-present threat. The new 6-transcendence effect significantly boosts his own effect accuracy, making him much less of a headache to gear up.

For Spike, it’s all about survival. His 6-transcendence upgrade bumps his active skill's health recovery coefficient by 10 percentage points. Combined with his passive 'Authority' effect, which now restores 60% of his health instead of 30%, he’s become a formidable force for those drawn-out battles.

There’s plenty more to dig into, including new content and events. Once you’ve cleared stage 4-20 of the adventure mode, you can jump into the 'Scales, Code, and Sword' scenario event, which dives into the lore of the Celestial Guardians, featuring Juri and Trude. Additionally, they’ve cranked the adventurer skill level cap up to 170, with rewards like 'Pet Wish Summon Tickets' and '(Old) Seven Knights Selectors' waiting for those who grind their way to the top.

To celebrate the 0.5th anniversary of SKRB, we have the new 'Half Anniversary' costume line. The lucky heroes getting a new look are Rachel, Phee, Juri, Rudy, Rosie, and Chris.
