Following the earlier arrival of her squadmate Soline: Frost Ticket, she joins the ranks as another shotgun-wielding Nikke, bringing a 'damage taken increase' debuff to enemies with the Burning Code. With the 'Alteisen' Solo Raid having commenced on December 11—conveniently featuring the Burning Code—she is set to become a vital piece of the shotgun meta. Q. What kind of Nikke is Clid?
A. She is a damage-dealer-slash-supporter who applies a 'damage taken increase' debuff to Burning Code enemies.

Clid is a Burst 2, Support-type Nikke equipped with a shotgun, aligned with the Burning Code. As mentioned, she’s essentially a must-have for exploiting elemental weaknesses, specifically those vulnerable to Burning Code.

Her Skill 1, 'Maneuver', fires off two effects at the start of Full Burst. The first applies a 10-second 'damage taken increase' debuff to all Burning Code enemies, while the second deals damage based on her final attack stat to all foes. The debuff is strictly for Burning Code targets, hitting a respectable 15.12% at level 10.

Skill 2, 'Conduction', is another debuff tailored for Burning Code enemies. After 10 normal attacks, she targets the Burning Code enemy with the lowest HP for another 10-second damage taken increase. Additionally, after 5 normal attacks, she deals final-attack-based damage to the enemy with the lowest HP, regardless of their element.

Her Burst skill, 'Full Mascon', grants an 'attack increase based on caster's stats' buff to all allies except herself for 10 seconds. At level 10, this reaches 66.52%. Note that this is calculated from base attack plus equipment attack, and does not factor in Overload options.

Q. Where and how should I use her?
A. She truly shines in Burning Code Solo Raids.

With the skills covered, let’s look at the data. We tested her against Burning Code and Iron Code bosses in the Union Shooting Range. The squad consisted of 'Treasure-upgraded Tove - Clid - Treasure-upgraded Drake - Dorothy: Serendipity (hereafter, Suroshi) - Soline: Frost Ticket'. Clid’s skills were at 7/7/7, Drake at 10/7/7, and Suroshi at 10/10/10. Refer to the table above for specific Overload options.

In the elemental disadvantage test, Clid clocked in at 2.3 billion, Drake at 2.8 billion, and Suroshi at 3.5 billion. Considering Clid is a Support Nikke with lower base attack and isn't included in her own Burst buff, this is impressive. She nearly matched a 7-core, treasure-upgraded Drake while only sitting at R-grade artifacts and zero core enhancements. With proper SR-grade 15 artifacts, she might just surpass Drake.

Conversely, in an Iron Code environment, her output halved, dropping to 1 billion—a 1.3 billion difference. The lack of the debuff was painfully obvious. As for Indivilia in Interception, like Diesel: Winter Wish, the boss's debuff-clearing mechanic makes her difficult to field. Since Indivilia hits like a truck, there’s little room to swap out Crown for another Burst 2. Sadly, Clid’s utility is largely confined to Burning Code Solo Raids.

Q. Is she a must-pull?
A. For a limited Nikke, it’s always wise to at least secure a copy.

Clid is essentially a 'specialized shotgun component for Burning Code Solo Raids'. Outside of shotgun teams, her use is limited to elemental checks and debuffing. However, given the current Solo Raid—which started December 11—features an Alteisen weak to Burning without debuff immunity, it will be fascinating to see if the shotgun meta hits new heights.

I recommend grabbing at least one copy. As a limited unit, missing her now means waiting until the winter 2026 rerun. While we don't know the frequency of Burning Solo Raids, being without her could be a headache. The only wildcard is the upcoming New Year Nikke. While details are under wraps, the developer usually drops info by year-end. Since Clid’s banner ends December 31, if you’re short on jewels or not a Solo Raid enthusiast, it might be worth waiting for the New Year announcement. Best of luck with your pulls!
