The class change period for 'Vampir' officially closed at dawn on December 10th. This initial opportunity for a career pivot has sent shockwaves through the Meca Ranking. The long-standing favourite, Bloodstain, has only tightened its grip on the throne, claiming the top spot in 33 servers this week—an increase of six from last week's 27. In this reshuffle, its rival, Carnage, has found itself pushed out of the top rankings across both individual server popularity and overall share charts.

Stepping into the void left by Carnage is Viper. Previously, you would rarely see them rise above the second or third spot in any given server, but things have changed. Since the server migration, Viper has been making quite a splash, seizing the number one position in four specific locations: Shima 1, Damir 2, Razbi 3, and Kizaya 2. In some cases, they’ve even managed to secure second place or make their presence known across every single world. It seems the balance update from December 3rd was, by all accounts, a masterstroke.

Viper’s dominance is particularly striking in the Shima and Razbi servers. They’ve claimed the top spot in one while holding steady at second in two others. When you aggregate the share within those server charts, the former hit a staggering 120% while the latter reached 100%. Naturally, this has triggered a seismic shift in the overall class share charts, which we’ll delve into in the next section.

Analysis of Overall Class Share

For the longest time, the overall class share for Vampir felt like a closed shop, with Bloodstain and Carnage firmly locking down the first and second spots, while Grim Reaper and Viper traded blows in the distance. However, buoyed by the recent rebalancing, Viper has shattered the status quo. They’ve leaped from 4th to 2nd in one fell swoop, recording a 10.2% point jump—a figure unseen by any other class in Vampir’s history.

Conversely, Carnage has taken a rather bruising 10.8% point hit, sliding down to 3rd place. This marks the first time Carnage has been relegated from the runner-up spot. Fortunately, their historical market share was deep enough to keep them within the 20% range, avoiding a total collapse.

The real story here is the continued expansion of Bloodstain’s dominance alongside the current standings of Viper and Carnage. Bloodstain’s slice of the pie has grown by 3.8% points, putting them on the verge of claiming 40% of the population. Meanwhile, Viper and Carnage are duking it out in the 20s, and Grim Reaper has solidified 4th place with 13.1%. The resulting diamond-shaped graph suggests the hierarchy of the Vampir Meca Ranking has entered an entirely new, unpredictable phase.

All-Server Clan Ranking

Since the 4th week of November, the Vampir clan rankings have been as turbulent as a stormy sea. While the growth rate of cumulative experience points among top-tier clans has slowed, the movement in the rankings has become remarkably volatile. The king of the hill this week is Moarte 2’s SpartaA. With an increase of roughly 1.7 million in cumulative EXP compared to last week, they are the only clan in the 2nd week of December to breach the 18 million mark.

In this shuffle, previous leaders like Line’s Line and 2nd-place Reaper have slipped one spot each, though it’s hardly a disaster as their total EXP continues to climb. Further down the list, Damir 1’s Myth and Dollingen 3’s Cabu Family have both climbed a rung. Most impressive, however, is Duncan 1’s HOUND, which surged from 16th to 10th. Thanks to the unique systems built into the Vampir clan rankings, it’s clear that even late bloomers can carve out a name for themselves at the top.
