Following its win for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2025, 'Clair Obscur: Expedition 33' is celebrating with a massive update.

This free, large-scale update is rolling out across all platforms, introducing a new region, 'Draft of Verso'. This area is set in a fairy-tale world connected to Verso's childhood, featuring the festive atmosphere of Gestral, new enemies, and hidden narratives. The endgame content, 'Endless Tower', now includes high-difficulty boss encounters, offering powerful Picto, costumes, and gear as rewards.

New OST tracks by composer Lorient Testard have been added and are available on digital streaming services such as YouTube Music. A highly requested Photo Mode is also officially supported in this update. In terms of graphics, AMD FSR 4-based upscaling and frame generation technology have been implemented to improve performance on compatible GPU environments.

Finally, language support has been expanded. With the addition of Czech, Ukrainian, Latin American Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, and Indonesian, the game now supports a total of 19 languages.

Meanwhile, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was nominated in 12 categories at The Game Awards 2025 and won 9 awards, including Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, Best Art Direction, and Best Score and Music.
