On December 17, Raven 2 released a massive update. The core of this update is the expansion of the 4th floor of the Abyss and its dedicated lobby, the Gateway of Tangled Despair. The 4th floor of the Abyss is accessible from level 80. You will need a 'Fourth Abyss Invitation' to enter, and you are provided with 8 hours of base access per week. If you wish to extend your stay, you can use a 'Time Charging Stone: Abyss'.

The 4th floor of the Abyss consists of the level 84 Ruins of Sin, the level 87 Fallen Sanctuary, and the level 90 Cursed Nest. Each hunting ground is divided into three zones, populated by a mix of passive monsters, aggressive standard monsters, and elite monsters. You can choose the area that best suits your level to farm. New exclusive collection items have also been added, so keep that in mind when selecting your hunting ground.

There are five boss monsters in total, with the top-tier boss, Morgast, Shadow of Calamity, dropping legendary items. These include the legendary gear 'Rainfold Chain Thigh Guard - Succubus Necklace', the legendary Heavenstone 'Souleater', and nine types of class-specific legendary skill books. Other monsters, such as the Wheel of Oblivion and Nezara the Flame Spider, drop the 'Apocalypse' series of legendary weapons, while Tirabel the Silent Fairy and the Brood Mother drop various crafting designs for legendary-grade gear.

In addition, Raven 2 has introduced the fourth Potential Reincarnation. Unlocking potential requires the Essence of Yellow Light. Once activated, you can also gain bonus effects like increased final damage amplification based on your potential ability score. Improvements to relic enhancement have also been applied; now, if a relic enhancement fails, you receive material items. These can be used to craft 'Blessed Superior Relic Enhancement Stones'. Furthermore, Raven 2 has kicked off its Christmas event season. The centerpiece is the event dungeon, Snowflake Festival Hill. Here, you can hunt monsters to farm 'Gingerbread Man Shards' and 'Snowflake Candy'. The former is a special crafting material used to make talismans. The crafted talisman provides stat buffs just by being in your inventory. Snowflake Candy acts as a buff potion that provides 'Damage Reduction +2, Max HP +50, and EXP Bonus +10%'.

The Snowflake Festival event is also in full swing, featuring a 14-day attendance check and two additional support missions. The attendance event runs for 14 days, gifting Essence of Yellow Light, event dungeon time charging stones, and superior/premium 11-draw selection boxes. Mission 1 is automatically completed by hunting monsters in the event dungeon and collecting Gingerbread Man Shards. The rewards are Snowflake Candy and event dungeon time charging stones. Mission 2 rewards you with Snowflake Candy and Gingerbread Man Shards when you use time charging stones. All events conclude on January 8, 2026, at 5:00 AM.
