Raven 2 is packed with progression mechanics, but let’s be honest: a light user is rarely going to experience 100% of the content. Between resource caps, the steep barrier to entry for competitive modes, and the fickle nature of RNG, you are bound to hit a ceiling much faster than the high-rollers or members of top-tier guilds.

As we stare down the barrel of 2026, the most effective tools for climbing the ranks are Legendary Celestials and Familiars. Given the abysmal pull rates for these, you might be thinking, 'What is he on about?' Well, you need to look back at the trail of events Raven 2 has left throughout 2025.

This year, the developers have been lowering the barrier to entry for Heroic Celestials, Familiars, and gear through a steady stream of updates. The ongoing 'Snowflake Festival' event is no exception. You can craft a Heroic Celestial Selection Chest to snag either 'Messenger of Winter' or 'Festival of the Silent Star'. If you have been grinding the event dungeon diligently, you might even have resources left over. Several other seasonal events have also been handing out Heroic or Rare grade items.

Additionally, when seasonal events offer Heroic Celestials, they often cycle in last year’s seasonal gear too. If you craft or collect these, you gain the 'Transcendental Fragments' needed for Contract Summons. Aiming for a Tier 4 Contract Summon is a solid choice; you have a 14% chance at a Legendary Celestial, and even if you fail, you still walk away with a Heroic one.

Don't overlook the Special Forces Handbook. Once you hit level 110, you are rewarded with a Legendary Special Forces Celestial Summon Scroll, featuring the 'Raven Commander'. Not the stats you were hoping for? Look, a Legendary is a Legendary—use it for the raw stats alone. You boost your Handbook experience by completing Monster Logs, Knowledge Logs, and Special Forces missions. The Knowledge Logs are tied to side quests, so keep chipping away at those whenever your gear allows.

Q. Are the Snowflake Festival Rare Summon Scrolls worth the trade?
A. Even if you don't use them, grabbing them is a net gain.

The Snowflake Festival shop is currently stocking Rare Summon Scrolls for the 'Eve’s Temptation' Celestial and the 'Snowphon' Familiar. Note that since the Celestial is new, it won't yield fragments immediately, and the Familiar might only yield fragments if you already own it—but thinking long-term is key here.

The point of the 'Eve’s Temptation' Celestial is simply to own it. Raven 2 tosses out summon scrolls like confetti in events, meaning Normal and Advanced items pile up quickly, feeding directly into your Contract Summon opportunities. The same logic applies to the Snowphon Familiar. If you already have it, you are getting a bargain on Rare Transcendental Fragments; if not, it’s just another piece for your collection.
