Hello, everyone. It is time for another Meca Ranking session for Arthdal Chronicles. With the New Year upon us, the Alliance Prestige points across all servers have been reset to zero. This, quite predictably, has sparked a ruthless scramble for the top spots, leading to a significant shake-up in the hierarchy. So, who is currently reigning supreme, and which alliances should you be keeping an eye on? KookminTree has done the legwork to find out.

The 'Minguk' alliance claims the throne as the number one in the South Korea server

The undisputed protagonist of this week is the Minguk alliance, representing the Arthdal faction on the Isodunyeong 1 server. Since joining Isodunyeong, Minguk has been a consistent force to be reckoned with. By forming an alliance with the Dae alliance on the same server, they have been dominating cross-server content with ease. Word on the street is that a wave of new recruits will be joining during the January server transfer window, which should keep them comfortably perched at the top.

The heavy hitters powering this alliance include Fighter Yeopyu (CP 173,386), Warrior SpaceCombo (CP 159,135), Archer InjeShushu (CP 158,708), Tempest LeeCheonGold (CP 154,983), and Tempest TaebaekCharcoal (CP 138,044). It is a top-heavy roster, but one with an incredibly solid foundation.

Next on our radar is the Hwansaeng alliance, representing the Arthdal faction on the Siaru 2 server. Having settled here during the November server transfers, they have been busy playing nice with the local heavyweights to bolster their strength. Their strategy clearly paid off; following the January reset, they have surged into 5th place globally.

A word of caution, though: Hwansaeng isn't exactly a war machine. They lack high-CP players and lean towards a neutral stance, preferring to avoid the messy business of open warfare. They are a community focused on growth and socialising, which seems to suit their members just fine. Notable members climbing the ranks include Archer Daol (CP 154,523, currently 59th globally), Holy Knight DaechuMan (CP 127,313), Archer Virenti (CP 125,393), and Priest GrayC (CP 121,802).

What about the Global and Boost server rankings?

So, how are things looking in the Global and Boost sector? Well, the ZooPark alliance from the Tagon 1 server, representing the Ago faction, has absolutely crushed the competition. Led by the global number one player 動物園園長天涯 (CP 192,344), they have amassed a staggering 234,020,000 points. They are currently 11th on the global leaderboard, and I expect them to keep growing.

How about the overall Combat Power (CP) rankings?

Let’s dive into the individual CP rankings. It has been a while since the 5 Islands update dropped, and the top players are busy filling out their codexes to squeeze out every bit of extra power. Most notably, Tempest Hoit from the Isodunyeong 2 server managed to boost their CP by 3,509 last week, vaulting into 2nd place overall. They are clearly gunning for the top spot currently held by CheonhaCheongeom.

What about the average CP rankings across servers?

Looking at the server averages, things have been remarkably stagnant this week. Most servers saw a modest 1,000-point increase, keeping the standings largely identical. Momo 1 saw the biggest jump with a 3,255 increase, though that is likely just a result of players migrating from other servers to this 'safe' zone.

How is the job distribution among top-tier players?

Shifting focus to job distribution: among the top 100 players, Tempest leads with 24%, followed by Archer (19%), Holy Knight (19%), Priest (14%), Warrior (12%), Dual Blade (7%), and Fighter (5%). If we broaden the scope to the top 500 players (all with CP 108,558 or higher), the landscape changes: Tempest jumps to 29.4%, Priest to 23.4%, Archer to 16.8%, Holy Knight to 7.8%, Warrior to 7.6%, Dual Blade to 6.8%, Fighter to 6.2%, and Danguri at 2%.

Regarding our previous poll, 'What do you think of the new stat balancing?', the response was largely positive. 'Satisfied' took 42.86%, and 'Very Satisfied' grabbed 35.71%. The consensus seems to be that it prevents individual top-tier players from monopolizing the game, while giving lower-CP players a genuine reason to participate in wars.

Moving on to this week's topic: Arthdal Chronicles has teased a server merge for late January to provide a more stable environment for various content.
