The eighth season of the 'Trial' stage in the Tower of Challenge for 'Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions' (hereinafter Arthdal Chronicles) wrapped up on the 4th. Since the arrival of the 5th Island, we've seen a massive spike in the average combat power among rankers, which has paved the way for a number of players to finally conquer the 58th-floor boss. Naturally, the leaderboard has seen quite a shake-up, so let's dive into the KookminTree data to see exactly who came out on top.

The reigning champion: 'Paeakjil'

In a bit of a comeback story, the Holy Knight 'Paeakjil' from the Yunseul 2 server has reclaimed the top spot on the global Tower of Challenge leaderboard. Paeakjil hadn't seen the summit since the third season back in July of last year, spending the last five months hovering in the 2nd or 3rd position. They’ve finally clawed their way back with a record of 14.56 seconds on the 58th floor—shaving about 9 seconds off their previous record.

We saw a total of nine rankers clear the 58th floor this time around. Notably, 'Heukgisado', an Arbalist from the Aramunhaesla 1 server, really turned the screws. After peaking at the 54th floor in 1 minute 8.94 seconds during the seventh season, they managed to pump up their combat power by a staggering 13,897 points in just a month. That growth spurt allowed them to clear the 58th floor in a mere 22.12 seconds, landing them in 5th place globally.

Shout-outs are also in order for 'L-Daepyo' (Holy Knight, Aramunhaesla 2) and 'Daesama' (Dual Swordsman, Irae 2), both of whom cracked the 58th floor for the first time and secured spots in the upper echelons. Watching these players grind their combat power week after week is, frankly, impressive—I can't wait to see what numbers they post next.

Now, let’s talk shop on class representation. Looking at the top 100 players from last season, the Arbalist leads the pack at 27%, followed by Archer at 21%, Holy Knight at 17%, Priest at 13%, Warrior at 11%, Dual Swordsman at 6%, and Fighter at 5%. Interestingly, we’ve seen a dip in Warriors and Archers, with Priests stepping up to fill the void.

As for the class-specific records, it was a relatively quiet season with no changes at the top. The legends remain: 'Doduk' (Arbalist), 'Cheonhacheongeom' (Archer), 'Paeakjil' (Holy Knight), 'Dongmulwongwonjangcheonya' (Warrior), 'Daesama' (Dual Swordsman), 'Wolgoe' (Priest), 'Sinmugi' (Fighter), and 'KAIROS' (Dangri).
