Sitting comfortably at the peak of the rankings is the Gunslinger 'ROYALMungDaddy', who clocked in a 12-second clear in the initial tally, already smashing the Season 8 record of 16 seconds. By the mid-season check, they shaved that down even further to 6 seconds, effectively obliterating the 10-second barrier on floor 45.

In second place, we find the Assassin 'NoShowHanSsurari'. It’s highly likely this is the same person as the early-stage runner-up 'NoShowOngGgoSsurar'. If that’s the case, they’ve managed to shave 6 seconds off their time, dropping from 16 to 10 seconds—a significant milestone in itself. Plenty of other high-ranking players have also broken through the 20-second threshold, proving that the real battle for the top spot has officially begun.

Furthermore, the long-standing dominance of ranged classes, which we’ve seen in the top 20 since Season 8, is starting to wane. We’re seeing more melee classes creeping into the mix, with Assassins and Vanguards carving out their own territory. The meta is shifting as the seasons progress, and I am genuinely intrigued to see how the final tally turns out.

Tower of Chaos: Top 5 by Class

Let’s dive into the Tower of Chaos class-specific rankings. It’s clear our high-ranking players have been putting in the work. Aside from the 5th place Elementalist, every single top 5 ranker across all classes has hit floor 45. Naturally, the Gunslinger leads the pack. As we’ve seen, the overall number one player is a Gunslinger, and all top 5 have broken the 20-second barrier. They also boast a heavy presence from the 'Solar-Fides' guild’s 'RoyalDaNaeKkeo'. A truly terrifying display of efficiency.

Next up is the Night Ranger. Along with the Gunslinger, they are the only other class where all top 5 players have cleared the 20-second mark. Meanwhile, for the Vanguard, Berserker, Elementalist, and Assassin, there is a yawning gap between the 1st and 2nd place players. It seems a select few individuals are significantly outperforming the average spec and skill levels of their respective classes.

Tower of Chaos Ranker Class Distribution

Finally, let's look at the class share among Tower of Chaos rankers. We’ve tracked 3,919 players this time, an increase of 382 compared to the start of the season. With the pool of players expanding, the distribution has naturally shifted. While the Night Ranger and Divine Caster appear to have lost a slice of the pie, that’s not quite the case. Both classes are consistently maintaining the maximum capacity of 700 players; they only look like they’ve lost ground because other classes have seen a surge in participation.

The Gunslinger saw the biggest growth since the start of the season, adding 84 players and narrowing the gap with the 4th place Deathbringer to just 0.5 percentage points. Since this class is home to the absolute top-tier players in Raven 2, the Deathbringer, with a more modest increase of 56, is looking a bit precarious.

The Destroyer comes in second with 72 new rankers. While they don’t quite have the record-breaking pedigree of the top-tier classes, they are cruising along steadily. The Elementalist maintains a 0.2 percentage point lead over the Destroyer, though in terms of floor clearance and record times, they are currently lacking in quality despite the quantity.
