This update introduces the twin heroes, Branz & Branzel. Given their status as a staple for the Arena, the official lounge is buzzing more than ever. I have rounded up all the latest hero drama and community chatter right here.

The arrival of Dark Knights 'Branz & Branzel'

The twin heroes Branz & Branzel, who commanded great popularity in the original title, have finally arrived in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH. Known for their legendary prowess in attack decks, they have naturally captured the attention of every Arena enthusiast. The official lounge is currently flooded with combat feedback, recommended transcendence levels, and build guides.

The consensus among adventurers is that their 'Saving Strike'—which executes low-health enemies instantly—is the real deal. It is a solid choice to cripple survivalist heroes like Sun Wukong in a single blow. That said, some argue their utility is too niche, noting that outside of that specific execution window, their raw damage output feels a bit underwhelming for an attack deck slot. For now, most players seem content just milking their utility.

Then there is 'Baekgak', who also made his debut. Thanks to the Hero Expedition event, getting him to Transcendence 2 is a breeze, making him immediately viable. Since you clear event missions naturally by completing growth dungeons, he is being praised more for his accessibility than his raw power. If you are a veteran who has already cleared the 15th stage of the growth dungeons, he might not move the needle, but for new or returning adventurers, he is a handy addition.

Q. Why is the 'Teo' pickup banner back again?
A. It is a rerun to celebrate the legendary costume summon.

If you are the type who skips the developer notes, you might be confused by the sudden return of the Teo summon pickup. One observant adventurer in the official lounge, 'Hyeol-lep-jung-dae-hyeon-ja-uk-i', raised the same question, wondering if there was a secret buff or a new ability unlocked at 12-transcendence.

In reality, this is just to celebrate the return of the 'Condemnation Moonlight' skin. As it was the very first legendary costume in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, many missed out on it the first time around. To appease the disappointed, they have brought back the costume summon alongside a Teo pickup banner. Both are available from January 8 until maintenance on January 22. If you fancy yourself a Teo main, do not miss this window.

'Sinner's Follower' costume discount

Rare-grade 'Sinner's Follower' outfits have arrived for the popular PvP heroes Colt and Platon. It is a dashing look, sporting that classic, 'cheat-code' colour combination of red and black. To mark the occasion, there is a launch discount: the base price of 5,000 rubies has been slashed to 3,000 rubies per outfit. The sale runs from January 8 until maintenance on January 22. While these costumes will stay in the shop permanently, the discount will vanish, so act fast.

Friendly or social guild 'We Love Cats'

Let me introduce you to a guild with a name that is hard to ignore: 'We Love Cats'. Their recruitment post looks standard enough; it is a social, growth-oriented guild where you can get deck advice and feedback. They have cultivated a culture where everyone celebrates your wins in the guild chat, and they even host first-come-first-served events with prizes.

But the real hook is their 'periodic cat photo' perk. As the name suggests, they favour actual cat owners. Apparently, most of the cats featured in their promotional images are the pets of the actual guild members. For those of you who cry, 'I am the only one without a cat!', do not worry—they are open to 'online cat butlers' too. Recruitment is currently closed, but keep a keen eye on the official lounge if you want to join later.

Guild Guardian 'Vanessa'

The final Seven Knights Guild War costume, 'Guild Guardian Vanessa', is arriving soon. While you cannot see it in the wardrobe yet, it was teased in the latest update notes. Since the illustration is out, I have already turned it into a wallpaper.

For the record, the costume goes on sale on January 15, when the current Guild War season wraps up. It will cost 5,000 Glory Pendants. This completes the set for the original seven Seven Knights, plus Vanessa. The next batch of Guild War outfits will feature the Four Lords, as previously hinted.
