Every region, bar Rune Gard, offers materials for crafting rare and hero gear as a final reward.

For beginners eyeing rare equipment, your hit list should be 'Velucia - Deron - Romern - Synerim'. Velucia through Romern are low-level areas, so even as a novice, you can map them out. These grant the 'Successor's Token', which is used to craft the entry-level 'Successor' set. Synerim, however, is the real prize—it provides rare crafting blueprints, acting as a skeleton key for any rare weapon, armour, or accessory.

I recommend starting with items that boost accuracy and defense. Raven 2’s monsters have strict accuracy thresholds; miss those, and you aren't doing any damage. Weapons provide the biggest accuracy buffs for their tier. By clearing mobs faster, you take less damage, saving you a fortune on potions and keeping your grind session sustainable.

Now, you might be thinking, 'You want me to walk into Synerim?' You don't have to fight them—just run. If you have enough HP to survive a few hits, you can map the area without engaging. If you hit a tough patch, pop a sprint potion. I once used this trick to clear a 'death trap' zone in Alteia that I had failed to cross multiple times. It works.
