ASUS Korea announced the launch of the new EBS-4U900, designed for building high-performance AI servers and industrial automation systems. The product features rugged durability and excellent expandability to efficiently support demanding industrial environments and AI-based workloads. It is engineered to deliver powerful performance even in edge computing environments.

The EBS-4U900 adopts an EEB (30.5 x 33cm) form factor to provide server-grade performance. It offers seven full-size PCIe expansion slots, allowing for the flexible installation of various add-on cards, such as graphics processing units (GPUs) and network interface cards. This is expected to be an essential element for building high-performance computing environments.

Significant attention has been paid to thermal management for the stable operation of high-performance computing systems. The product comes standard with two 120mm front fans and two 80mm rear fans to induce powerful airflow. Additionally, it offers an optional 240mm liquid cooling radiator to optimize system thermal management and enhance stability. It features a built-in 1300W power supply to provide stable power required for high-end operations.

Storage expansion supports up to five 2.5-inch drive bays, with options for 3.5-inch and 5.25-inch drive bays available to suit various user environments. It also adds flexibility by allowing for vertical or horizontal placement depending on the installation space. An ASUS IoT representative stated that the EBS-4U900 will be an optimal platform for AI inference systems and industrial workstations.
