'Goddess of Victory: NIKKE' has seen the addition of a new Nikke, 'Label', to the Champion Arena. It is widely believed that she is a direct counter to the Arena's 0-tier Nikke 'Scarlet', as her ability to drastically reduce damage taken from Electric-code enemies is highly effective. The psychological warfare in the Champion Arena has already begun, leading to a drop in the pick rates for Scarlet and related Nikkes.

Nikke pick rates among top-ranked squads in the Champion Arena Top 64

Here is the current state of the Champion Arena Season 21 Top 64. The highlight is the rapid arrival of the new Nikke, Label. As I will detail below, Label has caught the attention of Arena users due to her ability to counter Electric-code Nikkes. As a result, she achieved a 9.4% pick rate, with 6 out of 64 players bringing her into the fray. Perhaps influenced by this, the number of rankers using Scarlet dropped by one, leaving her pick rate at 98.4%. Her partner, 'Trony', also saw a decline in pick rate.

On a unique note, two rankers were spotted using 'Silver: Tactical Up' and 'Emma: Tactical Up'. While they do synergize well together, they are not considered top-tier in the current Arena meta. Nevertheless, these players managed to reach the Top 64 using them.

Let’s take a closer look at the squad of Shy, one of the six rankers who used Label. After stalling in the Top 64 last season, they have advanced to the Top 8 this time. They are utilizing not only Label but also the latest Nikkes, such as 'Snow White: Innocent Days' (hereafter 'Snow White') and Liberalio.

The team compositions include a 'Snow White' deck featuring Label, a Soda-based 'Scarlet' deck, a Liberalio squad, a 'Cinderella + Mihara: Bonding Chain' deck, and a 'Vesti: Tactical Up' (hereafter 'Tactical Vesti') + Emilia setup. The Liberalio composition is quite unique. Most players run at least two Burst 3 Nikkes, but Shy does not include any other Burst 3 Nikkes besides Liberalio. Instead, they have incorporated 'Noise - Noah - Rumani' for squad sustainability and 'Centi' for high burst generation. It is a structure that does not account for anything beyond the first full burst.

Shy’s record from the Top 64 stage stands at 'W-W-W-W-W - W-W-W-W-L - W-W-W-W-W'. The single loss did not affect their advancement and was a case of a narrow defeat after a close battle. It was a Tactical Vesti vs. Scarlet matchup, and in the ensuing chaos, the opponent's Centi managed to survive. It will be interesting to see if they can successfully advance to the Top 4.

Arena Meta Analysis

Where does Label stand?

As mentioned, the new Nikke Label excels at 'reducing damage taken from Electric-code enemies'. This effect lasts for 5 seconds at the start of battle and becomes permanent while she is in a 'Delusion' state. At level 10, it reaches 70.4%, making her take almost no damage. Consequently, players are using her as an offensive unit in the Special Arena. Since you can change the attack order based on the opponent's placement, she is a viable counter-pick. There is much talk in the community that 'Scarlet's pick rate is likely to decrease'.

However, unlike the Special Arena, the Champion Arena does not allow for real-time positioning adjustments. Therefore, after the initial placement, you are at the mercy of luck. Alternatively, Label can be used as a niche pick while the other four members overwhelm the enemy. Furthermore, Label is only strong against Electric-code units and struggles against other elements, most notably Tactical Vesti and Snow White. The battles involving Label in the Champion Arena have followed this pattern. Since this is the first season, we will need to keep an eye on the growth of her pick rate.

Re:White Memory nearing its end

The Re:White Memory event, which opened alongside the 2026 New Year story, is coming to an end. It is scheduled to conclude on January 29. Currently, 4 out of the 5 missions have been completed, with only 'Lily's Oath' remaining. Each mission rewards one Advanced Recruit Voucher.
