Webzen announced on the 23rd that it has introduced new 'Magic Stone' content to MU Monarch 2 and launched a commemorative event. This update expands the character progression system and adds new challenges.

The Magic Stone is a new growth system designed to enhance character stats. They are categorized into three colors, each providing unique stat-boosting effects. Players can equip Magic Stones in a dedicated slot interface and unlock additional slots by clearing blocks. Equipping Magic Stones in all slots activates an additional set effect.

A new challenge content, 'Tower of Magic', has also been added to acquire Magic Stones. In the Tower of Magic, players must hunt boss monsters within a limited time, and defeating them provides a chance to obtain Magic Stones and 'Block Growth Stones'. Block Growth Stones are used to unlock blocks in the Magic Stone slots.

Additionally, 'Sweep Tickets' have been introduced for existing dungeon content such as Blood Castle and Devil Square, allowing players to quickly obtain EXP rewards. Furthermore, 24 servers have been integrated into 8 grouped servers.

Meanwhile, Webzen has prepared various events to celebrate this update. The 'Firecracker Treasure' event will run from the 29th to the 4th of next month. During this period, players can obtain items to open firecrackers by hunting bosses, and various rewards will be provided based on the cumulative number of firecrackers opened.
