Riot Games, the organizer of the LCK, announced that the finals-qualifying match and the grand final will be held at the Kai Tak Arena in Hong Kong on February 28 and March 1. This marks the first overseas roadshow since the launch of the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) in 2012, with the LCK aiming to expand its global fandom through this event.

Since its inception in 2012, the LCK has proven itself to be a world-class league, producing ten world championship-winning teams in the League of Legends esports scene. It has solidified its position as a global premium content provider, capturing the attention of fans worldwide, with international viewers accounting for over 60% of the average 630,000 viewers per match in 2025.

The LCK has previously expanded its roadshows to regions outside the capital area once a year to improve accessibility for fans in various locations. As part of these efforts, the global roadshow provides international fans with the opportunity to experience the top-tier gameplay of LCK players in person. Through this, the league plans to expand its touchpoints with global fans and strengthen its prestige. The decision to host in Hong Kong was made after comprehensively considering accessibility and the venue environment to allow fans from Asia and other regions to enjoy the LCK more conveniently.

The Kai Tak Arena, where the 2026 LCK Cup finals will take place, is a modern multi-purpose stadium that opened in 2025 and can accommodate over 10,000 people. The facility has become a new landmark in Hong Kong, frequently hosting various entertainment events such as indoor sports and concerts. Ticket pre-sales for Paycool credit card holders begin on January 29 at 11:00 (KST). General ticket sales start on January 30 at 11:00 (KST) and can be purchased via Damai and HK Ticketing. At the finals venue, an LCK shop, team booths, and sponsor booths will be set up to welcome global fans.

Meanwhile, the 2026 LCK Cup is currently in its final week of the group stage, featuring the Baron and Elder groups. The play-ins are scheduled from February 6 to 8, followed by a double-elimination playoff bracket from February 12 to 22.
