On January 29, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE launched its latest story event, FATAL MAID, introducing 'Velvet' as the newest recruit for the Maid For You squad. Commanders are already buzzing about this update, which follows Velvet’s rather awkward struggle to fit into the maid cafe life and the special operation Cocoa has devised to help her settle in.

The FATAL MAID event pits our favorite Nikkes against a dark force threatening the cafe, demanding grit to keep the business afloat. You can clear event stages to earn tokens, which are tradeable for recruitment tickets and skill development materials at the shop. Furthermore, the 7-day login event, MAID CAFE STAMP, offers a generous haul of rewards. As for our newcomer, the SSR Nikke Velvet is a Wind-code Support unit wielding a sniper rifle. She buffs both herself and her allies by burning through ammo, and her Burst skill turns her into a formidable offensive support who hits hard against the opposition. You’ve got until February 11 to try your luck with Velvet’s special recruitment.

Costume collectors, take note: the February Mission Pass features Velvet's limited 'Sensual Rabbit' outfit. Additionally, four popular maid-themed costumes for Sin, Trony, Signal, and Drake are returning for a limited time. The update is rounded out by the new arcade mini-game 'PIRATE CAFÉ', along with Union Raids and the Coordinated Operation 'G.I.V.E.'.
