D3 Publisher announced on the 29th that it has officially released the pursuit-action game 'Escape Game: Hunter vs Runner' globally. Based on the popular Japanese variety show 'Run for Money', the game captures the intense, adrenaline-fueled struggle to survive while evading the relentless Hunters.

The game is available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Players must survive within a designated zone for 15 minutes to earn rewards. Once the 30-second grace period ends, the Hunters are unleashed, and players must flee to survive. Prize money accumulates based on survival time; players can choose to finish the game or voluntarily withdraw to secure their earnings, but getting caught results in the loss of all accumulated rewards.

In a series first, a 'Hunter Mode' has been introduced, allowing players to take on the role of the pursuer. Unlike previous titles, this mode offers a unique perspective where players hunt down the runners. Additionally, the 'Hunter vs Runner' mode has been added, where players choose a side to compete. In this mode, runners can use weapons obtained through missions to counter the Hunters, creating a strategic battle.

Multiplayer functionality has been significantly enhanced, supporting up to 12 players simultaneously online. Players are divided into 4 Hunters and 8 Runners to compete across 5 dedicated stages. A global ranking system has also been implemented, tracking records and accumulated prize money to allow players to compete with others worldwide.
