This month has been particularly juicy, with server-specific popularity charts and overall class distribution data shifting in ways that keep us on our toes. The tug-of-war between Carnage and Viper was the real highlight; last week they were sharing the silver medal for overall popularity, but it seems Carnage wasn't in the mood to share any longer.

Shall we dive into the server-specific popularity charts? We’ve seen movement across 11 servers this week. Most notably, Dollingen, Cain, and Karp each saw reversals in two of their respective servers. In Dollingen, the Grim Reaper climbed to 3rd place on Server 1, while on Server 2, Viper’s share dipped by 4 percentage points, forcing a tie for 2nd with Carnage. Server 2 of Cain mirrors this drama: Carnage snatched 3rd on Server 1, while on Server 2, a 4-point jump secured Carnage a seat on the throne alongside Bloodstain.

As for Karp, Servers 1 and 3 are where the action is. On Server 1, the former 2nd place Grim Reaper slipped to 4th, leaving Carnage and Viper to fill the void, deadlocked at 24% share each. On Server 3, Viper took over the Grim Reaper’s spot, both holding an identical 16% stake.

Big shake-ups coming for the Vampir Meca Ranking in February and March?

Vampir dropped some intriguing news during their live stream on January 26. They unveiled the roadmap for February and March, with the new class Akasha set to debut on March 11. Along with it, they’re launching a class change ticket. Given this is the first new class for Vampir, the community is buzzing. It’s bound to disrupt the existing hierarchy, and naturally, the Meca Ranking will undergo a sea change. I’m quite curious to see which class the top-tier players will pivot to.

Additionally, server transfer tickets hit the shelves on February 9. This will certainly ripple through the game’s ecosystem and the Meca Ranking alike. It’s deeply tied to the recently streamlined Conquest and Gehenna modes. If you’re one for server atmosphere or competitive skirmishes, you’d do well to keep an eye on this opportunity.

Overall Class Distribution Analysis

Last week, Carnage and Viper were inseparable, tied for 2nd place. But that awkward cohabitation didn't last. Carnage ticked up by 0.6 percentage points while Viper fell by 0.5, creating a gap of 1.1 percentage points that will be quite a climb for Viper to bridge.

Bloodstain and Grim Reaper saw some fluctuation in their shares, but it wasn't enough to nudge their standings. Bloodstain’s slice of the pie is simply too massive, and the Grim Reaper’s is too small; they’re effectively cemented in place. Until Akasha arrives, expect the Carnage and Viper rivalry to remain the main event of the Vampir rankings.

All-Server Clan Ranking

The Clan Rankings are a bit of a labyrinth. While the cumulative EXP across the board has dipped, a few clans have been grinding away. The leaders, SpartaA in 1st and Sashin in 2nd, saw their totals climb by roughly 600,000 and 300,000 respectively. Even lower down, clans like 19th place Kkabu-ne Family and 20th place Cham-education managed to scrape together five-figure gains.

Some clans, however, took a tumble. Goryeo, previously 5th with 17.43 million cumulative EXP, fell to 9th after dropping to 15.3 million. The 16th place Bloodsuckers slipped two spots to 18th, while Gimyohan and Fair Trade Commission each dropped a rank. Interestingly, the Black Knights jumped from 9th to 7th, despite their cumulative EXP actually shrinking by 700,000. It suggests that growth among top-tier clans has hit a bit of a dry spell.

The Lunar New Year took 1st place with a whopping 50% of the vote—hardly a surprise given it’s the biggest holiday around the corner. Valentine’s Day took 2nd, losing out to the major national holiday. Chin up, though; you can still eat chocolate during the Lunar New Year.
